Last night Jean kept knocking on y/n's window, that was something she expected so she stayed at Historia and Ymir's cabin. By the end of the day everyone knew that Jean and y/n were broken up, Eren supported it fully, so did Mikasa. Armin told y/n that they'd be leaving around noon. 

"Are you coming with us? We're going to get breakfast" Said Historia

"No, I think I'm good, but thanks." Said y/n

"Okay, we'll bring you back something" Said Historia, she walked out with Ymir to Hammonds Hunger, y/n went outside to the river. Marco, Sasha, and Connie were out there too

"Good morning" Said y/n

"Good morning, aren't you going to eat anything?" Asked Marco

"No, I'm not hungry" Said y/n

"I bet it's because of the breakup" Connie muttered to Marco, Marco nudged him

"Speaking of the breakup" Said Sasha, "Does this mean we're like, cut out of your life?"

"Definitely not. Just because Jean is an idiot doesn't mean that I'm cutting you guys out" Said y/n

"Hey, do you need a ride home? I can drive" Said Marco

"That's fine, Marco. She'll be going with me" Said Reiner, butting in

"Go away, Reiner. I'm not going anywhere with you" Said y/n

"C'mon, leave her alone" Said Bertholdt, he pulled Reiner away and said sorry to y/n

"Anyways, I'll be fine. I'm going with Ymir and Historia" Said Y/n

"Good luck with that. Ymir drives like a NASCAR driver" Said Connie

"Not when Historia's around" Said Sasha

"Hey guys, I'm going down the river again. Wanna come?" Asked Armin

"Sure, I'll go. Wait, Jean's not going, is he?" Asked y/n

"No, I don't think so. He said he'd rather stay in his cabin" Said Armin

"I'll go check on him" Said Marco, with his words, Marco left to Jean's cabin. Connie volunteered to go with him but Marco said one person going would be necessary. Everyone had gone to change, Bertholdt was in the river too, but not Reiner, Bertholdt told him not to come. Sasha and Connie splashed each other in the river, Sasha spat out water when Connie got it in her mouth

"Sorry about Reiner." Said Bertholdt

"That's alright" Said Y/n

"So you guys are leaving today, right?" Asked Bertholdt

"Yeah. What about you guys?" 

"Monday. We originally came to see a fossil but the hole wasn't big enough for one of our group people. Reiner and I are working on it" Said Bertholdt, thats why the tunnel was bigger

"Which one?" Asked y/n

"Me. But one of my friends are helping out while I can't go down. He's right down there. Hey Zeke!" Said Bertholdt, a tall blonde man with glasses had come to Bertholdt, he was very muscular

"This is Zeke" Said Bertholdt

"Hi, you are?" Said Zeke

"Y/n Porter" Said y/n

"Nice to meet you. You look a little gloomy, last day here?" Said Zeke

"Yeah. Definitely" Said y/n

"Don't worry, we'll see each other again" Said Zeke, he chuckled after that, so did y/n

"Y/n! We've got you something!" Shouted Historia

"Well, I've gotta go. But it was nice meeting you" Said y/n, she walked away to Historia

"What a beauty" Said Zeke

"Yeah." Said Bertholdt, he knew exactly what Zeke was going to do. Like Armin, Bertholdt thought y/n was pretty but he also had his eyes on someone else. "This is the beginning of tragedy" Thought Bertholdt, he just wanted y/n to be left alone with someone she was happy with, if y/n got with Zeke, it would not be the same as being with Jean. It would be worse than being with Reiner...
