Hey! It's been a while since I've uploaded. I've recently graduated from high school and I've had a lot going on. I lost interest in writing for a long time and I'm not sure why. I don't know why but I want to start again.
I got a good suggestion for a part and I thought "why the hell not?"
So here we go! Thank you if you are reading this currently.
"THIS IS INSANE!"
You ignored your partner, new as he was. "Come on, Y/N! Slow down!"
"Shut up, greenhorn! You're messing me up!" you screamed back.
Your meek partner hastily pulled the seatbelt across his body, sweat dripping from his forehead.
You suddenly took a sharp turn, peeling out down an alleyway. His head slammed against the window, sending him into unconsciousness. You felt a little bad, but he was distracting you too much anyway.
He was supposed to be useful. After all, he seemed desperate for a job. It was quite the job. It had the maximum amount of pay for how short it took to do a shift, it was exciting, and he got to work with one of the notoriously famous people from his city!
Yet there he was, nearly in tears. Maybe you should have been more descriptive about the position. Maybe you should have actually had an interview. Either way, you didn't want to take responsibility.
You checked your rearview mirror once again. Finally, it was absent of any pests.
"Whew. Another job well done."
You parked in the parking lot of an abandoned mall. You slapped the man awake, eagerly calling his name.
"Hirito! We did it!"
"Huh? Oh, we're safe? Thank God!" He let out a sigh of relief. "My mom's gonna be so happy!"
"Right? Mine too! Alright, let's see what the profit is."
"I wasn't so sure about this at first, Y/N, but I think that this was a good decision for me! I mean, who thought that bank robbing was such a lucrative business. When's the next job?"
You paused. It was true. Bank robbing was a job like no other. After all, you had become filthy rich off of the business. However, you had some bad news to break to your new partner.
"Hirito," you sighed, placing your hand on his shoulder. "I don't know how to say this. I'll just be honest: you suck. I'll give you your share, but you're not working with me again."
"What!? I did everything right though!"
"Yeah right! Your hands were shaking the whole time. I can't wait up on you because you're a scaredy-cat."
He started crying like a child.
"Hey, it's okay! The share from this job will have you set for a long time. I do this because I enjoy it, not for the money. Just take it all. But don't contact me again."
