You woke up abruptly to the sound of your alarm ringing loudly. You groaned and rolled out of bed, planting your feet on the floor. You rubbed your eyes, then began to get ready. You showered, brushed your teeth, did your hair, and put on your clothes. You trudged over to your dresser and opened the sock drawer, not expecting the surprise you got. It was empty. You blinked hard, trying to understand why it was empty. You slowly closed the drawer, then opened another one. You opened and closed all of your drawers. None of them were empty but the sock drawer.
"What..." you said to yourself. Suddenly, you realized. "Goddammit, Mirio." You narrowed your eyes as you stared at your bare feet. This was exactly the dumb thing he would pull just to play with you. It was harmless enough, but it was so annoying. You quickly slid on your shoes, and cringed at the feeling of having no socks. You stomped down the stairs and angrily made your way to class. You slid open the door to the classroom, and of course, Mirio was sitting on your desk, chatting with your classmates. As soon as your toxic gaze met his, he gave you the sweetest smile he could manage. You mouthed the word 'socks' at him, and he faked a confused expression.
He excused himself from his conversation and walked over to you, hands behind his back. "Miss L/N, how are you?" He stated properly.
You poked his chest stiffly and said, "What did you do with my socks, Golden Boy?"
"Socks? Why don't you have socks? Oh are not wearing any right now? Y/N, that's hilarious. You're so funny," he teased. You gave him a glare then sat down in your desk. He took his seat several desks away from you, and gave you a little wave when you looked over at him. You snapped your head back to your desk, pulling out your school binder. Mirio has this thing with pulling pranks on you. You always overreacted to his little pranks, because you knew he loved it.
You had to get him back. For too long, he had pranked you with no consequences. For too long, he had taken your personal effects and hidden them. It would not go on. You chuckled to yourself as you thought of a plan. A genius plan. It would take money. It would take time. But most importantly, it would take balloons. A lot of them.

During lunch, you finally found out the location of your socks from Mirio. "You're kidding. How did I not even notice?" You scoffed. Apparently he had taped them all to the ceiling of your room. You had no idea when he found time to do that, or how he even managed to do that, but he did. Now you really had to get him back.
After school, you managed to get everything you needed for your prank. You laughed manically to yourself as you pumped up balloon after balloon, to the point where your arms were sore. You continued to chuckle to yourself as you set loose several hundred balloons into his dorm room. He would immediately know it was you. The perfect way to retort after months of endless pranking from him. There was only one problem. You didn't think of how you would get out of his room now that it was filled with balloons. All those hours of filling them up, and you didn't even think about that. You couldn't find the door, the window, or even the bathroom. The only thing left for you was... rubbery madness.
You had no choice to wait. Like a villain waiting for his arch nemesis to arrive in his evil lair, you sat and waited. You evilly composed a dialogue for when he would arrive. What seemed like hours passed. You were starting to grow impatient. You forced your arm through several balloons so you could see your watch. It was 6:39. You were hungry. You were tired. You were wondering when the nightmare would end, when suddenly, you heard a click of the door handle. "What?" You heard Mirio's voice say. Balloons poured out into the hallway, consuming his body.
"Hello, Togata," you said after enough balloons fell away to reveal you. A look of shock appeared on his face, and a mischievous smile rose onto yours. His face made it all worth it. He pushed through the balloons to get to you, a little smile on his face.
"Is this your payback? Oh man, Y/N! You got me good! Why did you have to hide in my room though? Was it to see my reaction? Oh that's genius!" He laughed.
"Yes, I was in here... on purpose. It doesn't matter. Now you KNOW not to mess with me. Next time you won't even know what hit you!" You cackled. He laughed along with you, not nearly as devastated as you had hoped.
"Ohhhhkay, then, Y/N! You sound like you need sleep. Or a straitjacket. But sleep! Go to your room, Y/N, please go to your room," he said, pushing you out of the door. He smiled at you before closing the door, not even bothering to move the balloons out of the way. You shuffled through the balloons that fell out into the hallway and made your way down the stairs, managing to get to your room. You clicked open the door and your eyes were met with a monstrosity. Pink, orange, yellow, and green sticky notes covered each and every surface in your dorm room. While you had been setting up Mirio's prank, he had been doing the exact same thing to you.
"MIRIO!!!" You screamed at the top of your lungs. You heard laughter coming from somewhere. You glanced around the room, before you saw it. He had left a perfect little sticky note hole in the window, which he was looking into your room through.
"I AM THE CHAMPION!" He laughed, disappearing from your sight.
"This isn't over..." you mumbled as you began to tear down the evil little papers. But what about my socks? You wondered. You opened up your sock drawer, and inside were all of your socks. Laying right on top was a sticky note folded in two. You opened it. The only thing inside were the words 'got you!' with a smiley face underneath. "How dare he," you yelled. It would never be over. It was an all out war now.
