CHAPTER 11 - A TALK AND A NEW META?

Lazuli is currently typing on for her blog

Lazuli: To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to do something first. You need to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good. Because all of us, we have forgotten what miracles look like. Maybe because they haven't made much of an appearance lately. Our lives have become ordinary. But there is somemon out there who is truly extraordinary. I don't know where you came from. I don't know your name. But I have seen you do the impossible to protect the city I love. So for those of us who believe in you, and what you're doing, I just wanna say:

Lazuli: "Thank you."

She then hits enter on her laptop and posts the blog message, she then closes her laptop and sighs and then a yellow blur picks her up and races her outside to the roof of Jitters

SpeedDV: "You're welcome."

Lazuli then turns around and sees a Jolteon in a red suit

Lazuli: "How did you...? I literally just hit send."

SpeedDV: "Speed reading."

Lazuli: "It's crazy what you can do to your voice."

He then runs behind her

SpeedDV: "You need to stop writing your blog."

Lazuli turns around: "Pokémon need to know that you exist."

Her phone starts ringing and she looks at it and sees its Spike she declines the call, puts the phone back in her pocket and looks back up at the Jolteon

Lazuli: "What else can you do?"

He then runs behind her again and Lazuli turns around

SpeedDV: "This is not an interview."

Lazuli: "Come on, you gotta give me something. Hobbies, pet peeves, favorite color."

The Jolteon then shakes his head: "You're not hearing me."

Lazuli: "My hearing is fine, it's just selective. What should I call you?"

He then runs behind her again and she turns around again

SpeedDV: "Anything but the Streak."

Lazuli shrugs her shoulders: "Fine. Suggestions?"

He then ignores this question

SpeedDV: "You said you were writing about me to bring hope to somemon you care about. How would he feel if doing that put you in harm's way?"

Lazuli then sighs: "He and I aren't exactly on the same page these days. Besides, you're giving hope to a lot of people. So I'm doing this for them."

Rescuer Sirens are heard from nearby and the Flash and Lazuli look to where its coming from before the Flash turns back to her

SpeedDV: "To be continued. Gotta run."

He then runs off

Lazuli: "Wait. You can't just leave me up..."

He then runs back and grabs her again and runs her down to her laptop inside the Jitters and runs off again

Lazuli: "...Here. Wow."

SOMEWHERE IN DOWNTOWN PLASMA TOWN

A Hitmonchan is driving a yellow Humvee and is running over things and several Rescuer cars are chasing him

Hitmonchan: "Woo-hoo!"

At the intersection in front of the Humvee there is a blockade set up and Alfred and Spike are also there
