SNEAK PEAK

SOMEWHERE IN PLASMA TOWN

Speed was in a standoff on the roof of a parkade with two Lucario, the mon on the left was Heatwave, the other mon on the right was Captain Cold. Both had their guns pointed at the Jolteon ready to blast him at any moment.

Lightning flickered in Speed's eyes and he ran right towards them.

They fired their guns at the Jolteon but missed as he ran in between them and up the side of the building behind them. He then ran down the building back toward them.

Mick: "He's coming back around!"

Snart: "Yeah, to die!"

Snart charged up his gun ready to shoot Speed when he came back. Speed ran toward Mick, picked him up and shoved him against a car shattering the window.

Speed wrestled with Lucario before grabbing the Heat gun and firing it at Snart who did a combat roll and dodged the blast.

Speed then turned back around and gave Mick an uppercut to the chin. Snart charged up his gun again and fired at Speed.

Speed tried to move out of the way of the blast but was hit in the right shoulder. Speed let go of Mick who fell to the ground in pain after being uppercutted by the Jolteon. 

Speed quickly dashed to the other side of the car and was breathing heavily.

Snart began to approach the car: "I swear one of these days I will kill you!"

Then there was a blast of fire behind the Lucario which sent him flying off the top floor and down to the floor below.

The figure who fired the heat blast then appeared above Speed, it was an Umbreon with his head and paws on fire. It was Black.

Speed ran down to where Snart was, grabbed his gun and disassembled it.

Black: "I was late again, wasn't I?"

Speed laughed: "Right on time."

Sirens then were heard, the Rescuers we coming to arrest Snart and Mick

Black then took off into the sky: "Whoo!"

Speed then ran after the Umbreon and the two headed back to S.T.A.R. Labs

CORTEX, S.T.A.R. LABS

Speed and Black walked into the Cortex where the whole team was, Speed went up to Trace who gave him a paw-three.

Trace laughed: "Two down at the same time? Superhero double play, baby!"

Speed: "Didn't do it alone."

Then an Espeon walked up to them

Pearl: "You're never alone, Speed."

Black walked up to the Espeon: "Neither are you, Mrs. Raymond."

They shared a quick kiss while a groan was heard, it was an Ampharos

Robert: "Thank you for not doing that when I was inside you."

Black: "It happened one time. Let it go."

Speed chuckled, then an Arcanine walked up to Speed, it was his adoptive father Alfred

Alfred: "Snart and Rory. You're gonna put a Rescuer like me out of a job."

Speed smiled: "Just trying to help."

Then a Glaceon approached the two, it was Lazuli

Lazuli: "You do more than help, Speed. You give the Pokémon of this town hope."

A paw grabbed Speed by his shoulder and turned him around, it was a male Absol

Spike smiled at the Jolteon: "You're the hero, Speed."

There was a slow clap heard behind them, everymon turned around and saw an Umbreon in a wheelchair, it was Wells

Wells: "Congratulations, everymon. A spectacular victory. A milestone, if you will. Mr. Allen, I believe there's nothing left I can teach you. I believe..."

He then stood up from his wheelchair: "...that you're ready to do all of this on your own."

Speed then blinked and he was still in the Cortex yet it was all empty. No mon was there with him. The lights were off and the only thing lighting up the room was the sunlight from the skylight.

The computer behind him started to beep, Speed took a look at it and sighed.

The Jolteon began to narrate "My name is Speed Allen, and I am the fastest mon alive."

He ran toward his suit, put it on and ran out of the Cortex but he blew a bunch of envelops off the main desk, they were all from a law firm meant for Speed.

"When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father went to prison for her murder. Then an accident made me the impossible, and I became the Flash."

Speed ran down the street dodging multiple cars

"I used my powers to find the man responsible for my mother's death."

He then ran past the Rescuer Department

"I thought I would finally get justice for my family, but I failed."

Speed continued running toward the scene

"It's been six months since the Singularity. I'm on my own now. Decided it's better that way. Keeps the Pokémon I care about safe."

He then ran past a construction site, there was a poster that had the Flash symbol on it but the text was unreadable

"There's only one thing I can do now. I run."

Behind him was a large poster on the side of a building, it read "FLASH DAY, FEBRUARY 20TH"
