Speed, Pearl and Trace were looking at the article with wide eyes

Trace: "Flash missing. Vanishes in crisis."

Speed: "After an intense battle against Giratina, our city's very own Golden Speedster disappeared in an explosion of light."

Pearl then pointed out something: "Speed, look at the date."

Speed looked at the date of the article: "April 25th, 6036"

Trace: "This is really from the future...that would means Dr. Wells, or whoever he is, is also--"

Speed: "From the future."

Trace then pointed something else out: "I have to say, I'm really digging the brighter red suit, and the white on the symbol? That's dope."

He then realized something: "Wait a second. Suppose we now change the color on your suit. Will it be because we got the idea from this picture? That would mean we're living in a causal nexus, wow this is so trippy."

Pearl: "Not as trippy as the name on the byline..."

Speed looked at who wrote the article, and it was...

Speed: "Lazuli West-Allen?

Trace: "Mazel tov?"

The article suddenly closed and then a female robotic voice spoke

???: "Hebrew. An ancient language from long ago"

They all gasped and got away from the podium

Trace: "Nuh-uh. What was that?"

Speed then called out: "Is somemon here? Hello?"

Then a face appeared behind the podium, Speed, Pearl and Trace all looked over at it

Gideon: "Good evening, Speed Allen."

Speed: "Uh...H-hi. You know who I am?"

Gideon: "Of course. Speed Allen, director of Plasma Town Rescuer, CSI Division."

Speed: "Director?"

Trace: "I guess you get a promotion."

Gideon: "Also known as The Flash. Founding member of--"

Speed cut her off: "What are you?"

Gideon introduced herself: "I am Gideon, an interactive artificial consciousness."

Trace: "AI, sick"

Speed: "You know Dr. Wells?"

Gideon: "Yes."

Speed: "Do you know who he really is?"

Gideon was confused: "I don't understand the question."

Speed then stammered: "I... I mean, what is he doing here? W-why did he come here?"

Gideon then formed a body, it looked like a female Gardevoir

Gideon: "To kill you."

Speed, Pearl and Trace's eyes widened, then Trace's phone buzzed

Trace looked at it: "Wells is in the building."

Pearl: "What? How do you know that?"

Trace: "I put a tracker on his wheelchair. Which, if we're wrong about him and he is paralyzed, I'm going to the Distortion World for that one."

Trace looked back at his phone: "He's in the Cortex. Ask questions fast."

Speed then asked: "Why did he kill Mollie Allen?"
