CHAPTER 35 - WHERE ARE YOU?

The Kadabra and Alakazam were talking behind Jin while he was still tied to the chair

Kadabra: "I cannot believe we're finally in the same room. I mean, you're my hero."

Jin could hear what they were saying: "You need a better role model, kid. Can't you see? He's just using you."

The Kadabra looked at James: "Why did we bring him along?"

James: "Because his son works for the P.T.R.D. Should we find ourselves in a jam a Rescuers dad makes an excellent bargaining chip."

The Kadabra nodded: "Right."

Jin: "I wouldn't worry too much about what the Rescuers might do to you."

James: "Really?"

Jin smirked: "If the Rescuers aren't able to find you, trust me the Flash will."

James laughed as he picked up a strange device: "Here's hoping."

The Kadabra then asked James a question

Kadabra: "So, what's next? In your last letter, you said you had something big in mind when you got out."

James smirked: "I've had 20 years to come up with the perfect trick. It's going to be...my masterpiece...my Eeveelution Squad, or Jolteon x Glaceon story"

The Kadabra looked confused

James: "They gave me a computer in prison so I'd stop killing the guards."

The Kadabra nodded: "Right."

He then went closer to James: "There's just one thing I've been dying to ask. Why did you choose me?"

James: "Because...I knew you had the strength to fulfill my legacy. Besides...it was in your blood."

Kadabra: "What do you mean, in my blood?"

James: "The real reason I tracked you down and groomed you to be the best you could possibly be, Axel: I...am your father."

The Kadabra now identified as Axel grinned: "Really?"

James nodded his head

CORTEX, S.T.A.R. LABS

The whole team was inside the Cortex

Alfred: "We were able to identify the other Trickster. His name's Axel Walker, age 25. Him and James have been corresponding through snail mail for over a decade."

Speed slammed his paw down onto the desk in frustration: "I should've been there."

Pearl put her paw on his shoulder: "We're gonna find your dad, okay?"

Trace: "Definitely."

Speed nodded, then he looked at Wells: "I guess I should've listened to you."

He then sat up and walked outside the Cortex leaving the whole team confused

Wells then got a flashback

FLASHBACK

Wells and Sadie were driving back from the forest and were headed back to Terra Town, they were passing through Star City limits

Sadie yawned: "Sorry, I am so tired. I think I'm just gonna put on my pajamas, go straight to bed when we get home."

Wells: "Really?"

Sadie smirked: "No. Definitely not wearing pajamas."

Wells' face flushed red when he realized what she was meaning
