"Perception is the natural extension of the principles of control. As you extend your reach beyond you into your surroundings, you will have to be prepared to accept a deep cosmic awareness and the living force will reveal itself to all of you. Your perception skills will become better through time, but it will require perseverance, self control, patience." You spoke as each of the ten younglings looked up at you with wide eyes, holding their unignited lightsabers and having their training helmets on top of their heads. "So we're going to start with this seeker droids, which will help you practice perception." You continued as you put your hands behind your back and smiled at them.
"Master, (y/n)?" You heard a sweet voice call your name and you knew who it was.
"Yes, Rhett, what is it?" You asked the little Tholothian boy as you walked closer to him.
"Can you show us how to do it?" He asked and you smiled with a nod.
"Of course, but I'm gonna need all of you to put your helmets on." I said and they furrowed their eyebrows in confusion. "Come on, helmets on." You said as you clapped your hands and waited for all of them to put their helmets on.
"But we can't see you!" Little Teghal exclaimed while she turned her head around trying to see if she could peak out of her helmet.
"Well that's where you're wrong, Teghal." You told the togruta girl and she put her arms across her chest, stomping her right foot on the floor. She's grumpy. "You don't need your eyes to see. They can always be useful, but to sharpen your perceptive skills you will realize that all you need for guidance is the force." You continued and you lifted the combate remote from the floor. "Now, feel...don't look."
You were going to test them. You used the force to make the remote work and you ignited your lightsaber, but you didn't actually deflect any hits. And you kept doing that until someone said something.
"But Master, you're not doing anything!" Arwen said and you smiled to yourself.
"Very good, Arwen." You said and retracted the blade of your lightsaber. "Now, get to work." You said and they all ignited their lightsaber, making your heart flutter. This clan was your favorite out of all. They were such good learners and so curious about everything.
You started looking at how they worked, some better, some worse, but none of them failed to do it right. You corrected the ones who were doing something wrong and while you watched, analyzing their moves, you gave them words of encouragement.
After ten minutes or so, you made them sit down in a circle in the middle of the training room and you stood in the middle of that circle.
"Alright, we're gonna play a game because you all deserve it. You worked very well today, younglings." You said and they cheered with excited looks in their faces. "We're gonna play the guessing game."
