LAURICE

"Slowly...breathe out, nicely done. Good work as always, Your Highness." The pilates instructor told me and I gave her a smile before heading over to where my things are.

Kate was quick to hand me my face towel and tumbler so all that was left for me to do was use it. She then began reminding me of the things I needed to finish within today as well as the places that I needed to be and on what time as I wiped myself.

It's a bit hectic and I know it'll be more hectic and tiring soon. But hopefully, I can manage considering I've been juggling between my academics and Royal Duties for years. Only difference is that it's my last year of being focused on books. Once I pass the boardexam for accountants, I'll be more focused on my duties with more time.

After I drank my protein shake and wiped all the sweat that is the product of my workout, I went out of the studio inside the palace that's right beside the gym—which is actually just used by my brother. Ako at sister-in-law ko lang gumagamit ng studio since we're both into yoga and pilates.

Dumiretso lang ako sa bathroom sa room ko and took a quick bath since I have to attend a company's opening that is supported by our family. I almost overslept today because last night, I attended a party that stretched after midnight and almost 3AM na ako nakauwi. That party was held in a province na tourist magnet ng Great Crystal.

When I entered my walk-in-closet, ready na lahat ng gamit ko. Well, except for the jewelry, purse, and shoes. I like choosing those and the Lady Maids know that. But my go-to purses or clutch bags are stored on a shelf together with my other go-to shoes and jewelry if I'm in a real hurry.

Trained na rin yung Lady Maids ko to do my hair and makeup as quickly as possible because one of the things that I hate is being late. Aside sa it's rude, it's also not a good example. It's also dangerous, kasi baka maging habit. I want people to respect my time and I'm trying not to be late without a valid excuse so that they'll be inclined to do the same with me.

Dinala na rin sa room ko yung brunch ko that would satisfy my hunger from the workout I did but at the same time, would not ruin the hard work that I put into working out for almost an hour. Ch-in-eck ko na rin yung guests sa opening ceremony through my tablet and tried to remember those who I'm not familiar with while eating.

Binilisan ko yung kain ko and brushed my teeth after. Saka lang din ako nag-apply ng lipstick then went to the area where my shoes are kept.

I chose the pointed-toe nude heels to match my v-neck pastel orange dress with sleeves that reached my elbows. As well as matching jewelry and wristwatch. Nakakita rin ako ng envelope bag that is in the same color as my dress. And it's probably a birthday gift dahil hindi ko matandaan na may binili akong gan'to.

Then I made my way to the luncheon opening. As usual, may red carpet sa drop-off area for guests and may photographers na for sure para sa news or paparazzi na invited ng company owner. Kaya the moment that the bodyguards opened the door on my side, there's already a small smile on my lips.

Quickly and elegantly—like what my etiquette instructor taught me from childhood—I got off the car's back seat. I also made sure to have my handbag covering the neckline of my dress since there are all kinds of perverts in the world. You show a bit of skin and they think that you're doing it for them.

I stood tall and proud for a few seconds by the area where the guests were to let the press take photos. Afterwards, I strided to the heavily guarded area where business tycoons and celebrities are. Almost immediately, the people who were looking at me would give a quick bow, which I acknowledged them with a smile.

Most of the time, ako ang last guest to arrive kaya it didn't surprise when the event started almost immediately. This is also the reason why I don't like being late. Kasi parang marked na sa utak ng mga tao na you should never make a member of the Royal Family wait. I heard from my friends who are a Fair Youth or a child of a business tycoon na kapag may confirmed na member of the Royal Family na a-attend ay may email na ise-send sa kanila.
