"Aunt Lauren, is this correct?" Kyle asked.

"Let me see," I told him and Kyle pushed himself up from where he was and walked towards me, carrying the piece of paper with him. "Come here," I called him as I tapped my lap.

Kyle got sent to our house earlier than planned, kasi as Kuya told me Ate was starting to feel uncomfortable so he decided to get her admitted to a hospital at an earlier date. Well, she's also due next week so it was kind of reasonable to have her in the hospital already.

And it's so weird seeing Kyle solve math and answer fill in the blanks for language classes. He really is starting school soon. Like I promised, I worked from home to stay with Kyle. I also had my friend's nieces and nephews over, of course after consulting Chris with it and he agreed. Chris also said that he might contact some of his and Kuya's mutual friends with kids, nieces, or nephews in Great Crystal or from those visiting to drop the kids by our house.

What Chris said was, kailangan din makasama ni Kyle yung mga kids his age kasi puro matatanda nakapalibot sa kan'ya. He also rarely goes out. Kaya naman may sched kami when may bibisita or when he or I will take him out. Since ang plan din is to have Kyle stay with us while Ate recovers from childbirth. Specifically, how long Ate will be in the hospital.

"No, this is how you do it ha?" I told Kyle kasi napagbaliktad n'ya yung plus and minus signs.

I slowly taught him how to solve the problems in his math booklet. Not just by paper of course, I made use of things and made him count his fingers and stuff. When Kyle said he finally got it, he thanked me while giving me a kiss on the cheek before returning to where he felt comfortable doing his homework.

"Love?"

A chill ran down almost my entire body when I heard Chris' voice and when our eyes met, he chuckled. Seriously, this man goes from calling me by my nickname, name, and then different endearments. He's seriously having his fun with me!

"Uncle!" Kyle jumped and ran towards him.

"What do you want for dinner?"

"Beef wellington?" Kyle answered and my brows furrowed. Chris was visibly surprised but then he said okay.

Sinabihan n'ya rin si Kyle to keep doing his homework while we cook.

"How did that kid know beef wellington already?" Chris asked me as soon as we were in our room.

"I don't know either. Before lagi n'yang requests is the usual stuff like nuggets." I said. "Maybe Ate craved it one time tapos pinatikim n'ya kay Kyle and he liked it?"

"Maybe. How about you, what do you want to add?"

"Grilled broccoli and potatoes dauphinoise?" I asked. It's what I usually order as sides when I have beef wellington. "I'll tell Kate and Derek to prep what we need. Then I'll start first since you need to rest a while before taking a bath."

"Tell them to prep but come back here." Chris said before entering the walk-in-closet connected to our room.

I kept my face straight pero once he was out of sight, I smiled and shook my head as I went out of our room. I did tell our personal attendants to prep what Kyle wanted for dinner but as well as what I've already prepared while Kyle slept in the afternoon. Chris did tell me to come back sa room so I only told our attendants how I want the table to look like.

Baka kasi bumaba s'ya.

When I got back to our room, Chris hasn't changed his clothes. He's just in his slacks and barefoot.
