"You're up," I said as I felt Chris give me a peck on the cheek.

As always, his lips lingered on my cheek as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and I put down my fork and tablet to twist my torso in his direction. I gave back his hug and he hugged me tighter as I heard him sigh in relief as I smiled.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked. "I didn't wake you up because you look tired."

"I slept fine. You?"

"I did. Anyway, I was listing our grocery list; is there something you want to add?" I handed him my tablet and showed him the notes that we both have access to.

It's not just us who go grocery shopping though since Kate and Derek come with us inside the membership shopping building since we need to have at least one bodyguard with us when entering an establishment. Asking an establishment to close down for our sake din isn't really practical.

To close an entire store kasi to have it to yourself, as far as I know you should cover the income they would have that day or the hours you want it for yourself. Coming before the opening time is okay, according to my friend Keane since they had those kinds of requests, pero sa amin ni Chris hindi s'ya okay.

It's easier trying to blend in with the crowd since it's nice to do things that normal people do. Grocery shopping is our bonding na rin kasi since Chris and I are swamped with work.

"When are we going shopping?" Chris asked while I was making his coffee.

"That, I don't know yet. I guess we'll just hear from them," I said and he laughed.

Chris then put the tablet on the empty space beside him as he took his cup of coffee then he moved his chair closer to mine.

"Thanks," he said and I leaned in like he did. He gave me a peck on my lips. "You made everything?" He asked, looking at the table.

We bought a round dining table for our house because Chris didn't like the thought of sitting across each other. And sitting next to each other during meals is something I also enjoyed.

"Yes. You like it?" I asked.

"I love it, thank you," he said and kissed me again which made me smile.

I woke up earlier than I usually do so I cooked us some breakfast after working out in our home gym. Late din nakauwi si Chris because he flew back home so I asked how his day was yesterday. And I was keeping myself from laughing by stuffing my mouth with food kasi inis na inis s'ya ron sa isang nasa conference.

It was the conference attended by our Prime Minister din naman so it wasn't really a confidential matter between the two of us.

Of course, even though we're in a relationship and we're living together, we still needed to keep some things from each other, especially about our respective kingdoms. In the past months, we've had to leave the house at night for urgent matters. When that happens, we leave each other a message about it and just wait for the other to come home.

Halata talagang naiinis si Chris and I was okay with him telling me but he shifted the topic, saying he'd rather not ruin our morning because of some greedy old man who's still in politics for the money.

"Prince Logan's in your house, Your Highness," Kate said, which made me look at her. "Prince Christopher's asking what time you'll be home."

"I think the earliest is eight," I said after looking at the paperwork I needed to get done.
