"You said one of your gifts?" I asked Chris.

I was changing my clothes kasi. The party where the majority of those who are invited are associates of our family as the Royal Family of Great Crystal is finally over and it's time for the celebration with just my close friends. Chris knew there's an afterparty and of course my university friends and the girls in Royal Hands.

I also told Chris to invite some of his friends to the party kasi with Tori here, Clinton Williams will automatically be there since I allowed those invited to the afterparty a plus one. Sure Chris and Clinton will probably be fine with Keane and Neil's company since those guys are really good with people but it's still more fun with more people.

"I'll give it to you after you get out of the bathroom," his voice was almost muffled from the outside the bathroom.

Ayan tuloy, nagmadali ako na matapos magbihis. When I got out, Chris' brows were furrowed before he laughed and tapped the empty space beside him sa bed. So I sat there naman.

"Kamamadali mo yung buhok mo nagulo na nang sobra," he told me as he began to comb my hair with his fingers. "Probably not the way you want it to, but you can just fix it later bago bumaba."

"The other gift?" I asked him after I turned to face him.

Instead of answering, Chris stood up and took something from his bag. He brought a small box, probably jewelry. And when he sat beside me again, he opened it and my eyes and mouth went wide.

"What is this clear thing?" I asked as I took the necklace from the box. It looks like clear resin pero it doesn't feel like resin.

"Stained glass," he said.

"You made this?" I asked him kasi may flower sa loob ng glass. "What flower is this?"

"Baby's Breath," he answered. "It's from one of my collections of dried flowers and let's just say na gusto ko lang maging bida-bida na kakaiba yung regalo sa 'yo."

"Thank you," I nearly pounced on him as I hugged him by his neck while still holding the necklace.

"Are you crying?" He asked when I sniffed.

He pulled me to get my hug off him and I saw how his face softened when he looked at me. "Why?" He asked and took out a handkerchief which he used to carefully get the threatening tears to spill and be absorbed by the fabric.

"Nakakainis ka, kanina pa ako touched sa 'yo!" I told him and sniffed again.

"Only what I know will make you happy," he said it like it was nothing.

Kaya naman yumakap ako ulit sa kan'ya. And after letting go, I told him to put the necklace around my neck.

"Are you sure? It might not go well with your fit," he said.

I was wearing a silk red dress with a square neck and spaghetti straps, there's even a slit on my left thigh.

"I'd still wear it," I said. "Dali!" I encouraged him.

Plus I'm sure it would look good. It's minimal at best, you wouldn't really be able to tell unless you get real close and see the necklace. After Chris put the necklace on my neck, I went to get my gladiator style heels which I fooled Chris with earlier. Although he was growing at the shoes he still helped me to put it on and when I was done, we took a lot of pictures.

We even looked for references to help us take good couple pictures. But then we decided to just record a video of us and we'll just screencapture the poses.

While we were just standing there with my arms around his neck and his one arm around my waist, we were laughing at each other until our eyes met. That we just held each other close and our lips found its way to each other.
