LAURICE

"They're definitely going to recognize us sooner or later," I laughed.

"Like you said, later, hindi ngayon. If they ever find out that it's us, we'll be long out of their sights." Chris stood behind me, fixing his now dyed black hair and I couldn't help but look. "Why?"

"Nothing, you just...look really good," I smiled at him.

Chris didn't answer but when he wrapped his arms around me, I grabbed onto his arms and gave it a little squeeze.

"You look really good too," he whispered against my ear then gave a peck on my temple. "Your bangs look adorable too." He chuckled and lifted the bang extension I asked for when we were in the salon.

Kaya naman I reached for his hair which he asked me to curl for him. He kinda looked like a poodle and it's cute. If we're going to do this blending in with the crowd, we might as well look different than our usual.

I also have a hard time believing that this guy with black wavy hair with bangs near his eyes is the same Crown Prince and Lawyer Christopher Adler Jackson. The bangs extension I have din, medyo nahihirapan ako because the tips of the bangs kinda itches but I eventually got used to it.

"Where are we going first ba?" I asked him and faced him.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and he adjusted his arms around me before looking down at me.

"Gutom ka na ba?" I shook my head at his question. "Then we'll go around in one of the places I showed you earlier. At kapag nagutom na tayo, those places are close to a chain of food establishments."

"Do you want to go now na ba?" I asked. "Because I kind of want to stay like this for a while muna. It feels nice."

For a moment, Chris' hold tightened and I smiled before standing on my toes to give his lips a peck. When I stood flat on my feet, he leaned down to give me a peck too. There wasn't anything funny but we ended up laughing.

"I saw your public appearance pala," I told him.

Inalala ko yung speech na sinabi n'ya when he made a visit to one of the public parties held by, I think, a politician. Numerous news outlets broadcasted his speech live and the morning news. Of course may uploaded videos din sa Internet.

He also made several speeches sa events na pinuntahan n'ya as the Crown Prince of Great Emerald.

"Hindi ka naman updated sa akin n'yan?" He teased me.

"Ikaw kaya nagsabi sa akin ng ginagawa mo everyday?" I recalled him telling me his schedule; kasi baka mag-message daw ako and he wouldn't be able to reply.

"Joke lang eh," he laughed. "But I'm curious, ever since you passed the board exam. What's your plan?"

"Well, I want to work closely with the Great Crystal's Finance Department. You know, the Great Amber situation," I pursed my lips.

"I see and I get why," Chris answered.

When the two of us decided to finally leave the hotel after changing our clothes just because we wanted to, we first went to an art museum in Great Peridot. Actually it was a little funny since when we got our bags checked, the guards and staff were eyeing us. We just smiled at them and turned around as fast as we could before they realized who we were.

Our bodyguards were blending in the crowd while the others were most probably waiting outside.

After we went around and saw all the art in the museum, we saw a theater house on the way and we got ourselves tickets for the next show. The show time was still at night kaya naman we went to the shopping district where we eventually got hungry and lined up for a locally loved restaurant.
