LAURICE

First, he confesses to me that he's liked me for a long time. Then he just did his thing with me; texting me. Asking me about my day and my plans. And now he's ignoring me?

"Shall we go on or do you want to cut this routine short, Your Highness?" The instructor said and my eyes widened.

"Let's go on," I said.

The instructor looked conflicted so I just asked for a break before we go on with the workout routine. I sat on the yoga ball as I drank on my tumbler na inabot sa akin ni Kate. Medyo mabilis yung beat ng heart ko so I took deep breaths and I saw Ate Ellis enter the studio, wearing her usual workout clothes, her bump is not that obvious pa naman. She was talking to the instructor and I can hear her telling the instructor about her OB's recommendation about her workout.

"Are you okay?" Ate asked as she stood a meter or two away from me while she started stretching.

"Maybe not," I sighed.

Napatigil si Ate sa pag-stretch ng arms n'ya and she walked towards me, putting her palm against my forehead. That made her look at me with furrowed brows. "You're not sick," she said.

"Chris is not responding to any of my messages," I whined.

"Maybe he's busy? He's a lawyer and a crown prince."

"And he's been spotted with Cindy Harris for a while now, surely he can type a reply."

"Are you jealous?" Ate chuckled.

"Maybe? I don't know. I just...hate that I see him around that girl," I told Ate. Naalala ko na naman yung reply n'ya sa isang nagtanong sa social media account n'ya why she's been seen with Chris! I really think she likes him, I could be wrong din.

"And you're not his girlfriend for you to even ask him to not see such a woman," Ate replied and I looked at her with wide eyes.

Ate only looked at me pointedly and I rolled my eyes before looking away with a pout. Tinawanan lang ako ni Ate. So I sighed and said, "after he confessed to me?"

"He did?" Ate asked, looking very intrigued.

Tinanong ako ni Ate about it pero biglang pumasok yung instructor, asking us if we can start. I had to assure Ate na I'll tell her everything about it before I continued my workout. When we finished our workout, Ate reminded me to meet her sa dining room.

Before I took a bath, ininom ko yung protein shake ko while waiting for Chris to view and reply to my message last night. Seriously, what is with him? Before naman, he replies quickly. When he can't exchange messages for too long, he'll tell me. Tapos he didn't send a good night and good morning message!

He hasn't sent any of those messages for days! I see him posting and sharing stuff on his accounts ha. I really couldn't have any of this na kaya I downed my protein shake and typed another message.

Are you busy?

My eyes widened when I saw that Chris had seen the messages and from being seated on the couch, napatayo ako when I saw him typing. But all I got was:

Yes.

"What?!" I gasped. That's not his usual response.

I could not help but loudly exhale at his reply but still, I typed a reply.

What are you doing?

But I didn't get any reply even if he saw the message. Kung hindi siguro ako tinawag ni Kate that the tub is ready, I would wait for his reply. I tried to relax, especially when I dipped in the tub.
