I didn't really think that much time has passed since I've been living in Great Crystal until I witnessed the first snow of winter with Lauren. Iniisip ko nga lang kung anong pinaggagagawa ko nitong mga nakaraang buwan kasi ang pumapasok lang talaga sa isip ko halos si Lauren lang.

And I don't know what came to me. Maybe it's the alcohol or it's just me that I ended up telling Lauren that I like her. She didn't say anything, I expected her not to say anything anyway. I'm not going to force her to say anything.

But hearing something about it from her would have been nice.

"Please tell me if you're going to just sulk so I'm not going to waste my time," Cindy Harris said as she put down the files I'm presenting to her.

She's one of my prospective partners for Royal Hands in Great Emerald. And it's great that she approached me first with a business proposal. With how many times I've been seen with her, there's people wondering if nothing more's gonna happen between Lauren and I since I was so busy managing all my work. The case with Mrs. Browne is still not over, I'm trying to be as hands-on as possible with Royal Hands' launching in Great Emerald, my Crown Prince duties, our family's private business, and my work as a lawyer.

So even if I wanted to go on a date with Lauren, it's kind of difficult to make time that people, the paparazzi in particular, are making conclusions. Ewan ko ba sa ibang tao, masyadong focused sa buhay ko.

Tsaka, Cindy's a friend I made years ago, we just don't hangout but we're cool with each other. Besides, she's simply not interested in having a relationship with anyone. Found out about it when I told her before that if the rumors go overboard and I told her to tell if she hears of anything like that right now because if she does, I'm making a statement about it because I don't want Lauren to get the wrong idea. Now she simply teases me for being down bad for Lauren when we're not hyperfocused with our work

"Utak mo lumilipad na naman," Cindy said rather harshly.

"'Di na talaga," sabi ko.

Then I took a deep breath and told myself to focus. The sooner I get over this, the sooner I'll see Lauren. But with how things have been unfolding in Mrs. Browne's case and my other cases in the IC, I barely got time to send Lauren messages. My free time was spent with me just falling asleep.

That's what I kept telling myself as I go through page after page of the documents I had to read, review, and sign. I didn't even notice how many days passed by. And just as I was about to finish my last meeting with Cindy Harris, I saw something unsightly at Great Diamond.

So unsightly that I just walked out of the premises. That's better than me making a scene.

That unsightly view made its way to my private accounts' timeline and I looked like a fool being pissed at the floor. And I didn't even have that much time to be pissed because I had a mountain of work to do.

I was busy with all my paperworks when I received a message from Logan. Tambay raw sa kanila which equates to looking after his son. I felt a chill down my spine because if Ellis knew what his husband was doing to Kyle, I'd be collateral damage. Kung anu-ano kasing kalokohan pinaggagawa ni Logan kapag binabantayan anak n'ya.

Yung bibitbitin n'ya si Kyle gamit isang kamay lang habang nakapatiwarik, mga ganon. Ellis caught him doing it once and got smacked then I witnessed what seemed like the earful of the century. Lalo na nung hinayaan ni Logan si Kyle na tikman yung extra spicy na ramen n'ya tapos tumakbo kay Ellis na umiiyak dahil hindi kinaya yung anghang.

Umoo na lang ako sa yaya ni Logan at dahil may sinabi s'yang oras, sinabihan ko si Derek na paalalahanan ako kapag malapit na. When Derek reminded me, I just fixed everything on my table and made my way out after drinking some water. Then when I was literally just putting my car out of the parking lot, I got a text from Logan canceling on me. Pero nanlaki yung mata ko nang sinabi n'yang binilin n'ya ako kay Lauren at umoo raw s'ya.
