LAURICE

"Nag-bonfire ka? Mag-isa?" Tara asked me.

"Daya naman nito hindi nagyayaya!" Candice added.

"It was spontaneous!" I told them.

"Spontaneous eh alam mo namang kaladkarin kami," Tara rolled her eyes.

I posted a picture of the bonfire. Actually, I wanted to just post the picture we took after I realized that we really are dating exclusively. But I remembered how messed up the paparazzi is.

Chris was right. It would be better for us to be able to have time to spend with each other. As much as I know what their job is, too much na talaga minsan. There are paparazzis who will really follow you like a stalker. Or it's more fitting to say that they will stalk to do their job.

Kaya nga I chose to post a picture of the bonfire to kind of just commemorate that day.

"Nagpaplano sina Neil at Keane mag-camping sa literal na bundok," Tara said. " Sasama ako, kayo raw?"

"Well, you know I can't if it's a literal mountain," I smiled apologetically. "I'm not built for mountains."

"True, alam mo namang nung huling sumama s'ya nahimatay sa pagod."

I rolled my eyes at what Candice said at tumawa lang sila. Can't say anything about that kasi true naman.

We were only working kaya pagkatapos, the two of them left while I finalized the papers. Ang lapit na kasi ng Christmas Party for Royal Hands and I want everything to go well kaya nga when Kyle woke up, I had him draw and color in my office while I did my work. He would occasionally ask me how he did and as always I complimented his work and when he's in doubt, I would ask what he thinks could be better rather than agreeing. I wouldn't tell a kid outright that their work is too hard to perceive or ugly. They're learning pa naman and shutting them down like that is not going to help.

And although I am cramped with work, I set it aside during dinner time to eat with Kyle. Ate Ellis always made it a point to eat together with Kyle and Kuya as much as possible and I agree with her. Kasi even though I'm living in the palace with my parents, I barely see them. Si Kuya 'di ko na nga rin masyado nakikita 'yon, especially after he graduated college since he's flying everywhere for business and conferences. The King and Queen and each child gets a different wing in the palace as theirs.

So I either go to theirs or they go to mine when we eat together.

That's why I'm really grateful that he found Ate Ellis kasi things definitely got better with her around because she's sincere about wanting to help.

"Hi," I answered the call.

"Auntie, no phones daw sabi ni Mom pag kumakain," Kyle pouted which made me laugh as I put the phone on speaker..

"Should I just call after?" Chris chuckled.

Kyle's eyes widened and he jumped, like really jumped, from his chair! Nabitawan ko tuloy yung phone ko.

"Kyle, why did you jump?" I scolded him. "Lagot ako sa Mommy mo kapag umuwi s'yang may sugat ka."

My sentiments were unheard though because he tiptoed to reach for my phone and all I could do was sigh and tell the helpers na ilapit yung chair and food ni Kyle. He got really preoccupied talking to my boyfriend that I had to spoon feed him. This kid obviously has a favorite among my brother's friends.

There are times kasi na Kuya's friends will drop by the palace to give him a gift pero I don't see Kyle being this hyper when it's not Chris. Which makes me think, how did this kid get attached to Chris?
