STILL AT LISA'S
Zama: Hello baby, Hi it's nice to meet you! Ooh my God, he is so tiny ooh look at those fingers. Isn't he the cutest thing ever, Hi I am your Aunty Zama but you can call me Godmother?
Nadia: Lisa, he is so grown and big. What did Grandma do to you baby? You are so a big and beautiful little thing. Do you remember me? Heeeh?.
Anga: This is crazy why are y'all talking to the baby I mean he can't hear you.
Nadia: He can hear us, the only voices he is familiar with are his parent's ooh and grandma's too but now he needs to hear his Godmothers. You should try it too.
Anga: That's crazy I ain't talking to no baby, especially that one, he just stares at me like I'm crazy.
Elam: Yeah you are crazy man. You don't have to talk to him just hold him and smile the baby will feel your kindness.
Zama: Baby come and hold him.
Elam: I did baby and he is still small and...
Anga: (Laughing out loud) You are scared of the baby, man just hold him and smile at him, go on show the baby your kindness.
They laughed, so Anga came with his girlfriend. They had been together for three months and things were going really well even though she was not always around she traveled a lot but she still had time for her boyfriend.
She was very beautiful, she and Anga met at a photo shoot she was a photographer, they knew each other for a very long time before they dated.
Nadia seemed not to be bothered because she felt that it was her fault that they are not together, she had her chance but she blew it. She envied her and Anga seemed truly happy with her.
Anga could see that Nadia was not bothered that he had a girlfriend, because he knew her and he would know if she was affected.
Kyle: Thank y'all, but give me my baby and you must learn to make your own.
Lisa: My friends I love you very much and you must never get pregnant and give birth never!
Elam: Don't you dare Lisa! Baby don't listen to her alright?
Zama: I am not because no babies are coming anytime soon. So we are good.
Elam: See Lisa! Man get your woman.
Well, Nadia speak up please what do you think Doc I mean you are married you should be talking babies now.Buhle: Wow! You are a doctor too?
Nadia: Ooh yes I am, we actually work together.
Buhle: Wow beauty and the brain I like that, go, girl. She nodded.
Nadia: Thank you. You are sweet and as for kids no for me yet maybe some other time.
Buhle: Babies never! Not even in my dreams. Maybe I would consider adoption in my forties not now, what about my job? No never.
The room went silent and Anga was taken back a little but it was too early for them to discuss kids and stuff like that. Anga thought to himself that, he and Nadia discussed about the babies the first night they were together and maybe that's why they didn't make it. It was just too good to be true.
Lisa: Come help me with lunch.
Zama: I'm coming too.
Zama knew that those two were going to talk about the new girl so that was too juicy for her to sit around. The boys gave each the look, they knew that in the kitchen they were discussing Anga and his girl, Elam wanted to laugh.
Lisa: So what do you think girl?
Nadia: About what?
Zama: You know what?
Nadia: She is pretty and nice too.
Zama: And the Elam says he thinks she is the one.
Nadia: Well good for him.
Lisa: But she ain't that pretty.
They looked at each other and laughed
Zama: Sshh! But I do think she is nice.
Nadia: What's up with an accent though?
Lisa: I heard she grew up in London.
Nadia laughed hard.
Nadia: Forgive me ladies I don't know why I'm laughing I just find it funny.
Zama: His boys say, even a brother has an accent too.
Nadia: I swear I heard that too. (She laughed again)
Lisa: Stop! The poor guy is in love. You know when you love someone you end up talking like them. Like someone, I know.
Zama: Yep! She was.
Nadia: You shut it I did not!
Anga: Yes you did. (He laughed) you even walked like me.
Nadia: That's not true though, why can't I remember that? You are a liar! (She hit him playful in the chest)
Anga: It's true and you still walk like me. I think it's time you practice your husband's walk.
Nadia: Shut up! You are stupid!
They were awfully close to each other talking and looking into each other's eyes but innocently. Anga was happy to see her happy with no drama, he was a little scared when he saw her. He thought that maybe she was gonna pull some stunt but instead she was the sweetest. He guessed that she was happily married then.
Anga: You still disrespect me even to this day, you will never change. Except, you cut your hair.
Nadia: Ooh yeah! I did, I figured it was time for a fresh start.
Anga: Well it suits you. By the way, we are hungry, women! (He joked)
Lisa: Excuse us! Well if your girl was here you would have eaten by now.
Anga: I didn't want her to intrude, I wanted your nasty asses to discuss her peacefully. She is perfect, isn't she?
Nadia: She is nice too. Well done my boy!
Anga: Call me your boy again you shall see.
Zama: Well she is okay I don't know about perfect. Isn't it a bit too much?
Lisa: Bye Anga we are coming.
Nadia: Zama!!
Zama: What?! I'm just saying.
