Still at Elam's condo..

They were still standing looking at the paintings and she finally turned to face him. She hugged him tight for what seemed like forever they were interrupted by his phone that rang in his bedroom. She tried to break the hug but he pulled her into his arms.

Zama: You have to get that it could be important.

Elam: What could be important more than this right here?

Zama: See! It's the third time come on go answer.

Elam: (He groaned) okay I will get it.

She continued to look around impressed and had a smile on her face. He came handing the phone to her.

Elam: It's yours.

Zama: Mine?...Hello!?

Lisa: He is good isn't he?

Zama: Whatever! (She giggled taking a few steps away from Elam)

Lisa: Tell me everything now.

Zama: (She giggled more) Lisa stop can't you even wait I'm coming.

Lisa: Girlfriend I feel so alone right now, you know that we always chill together when the weather is like this. It is so personal I'm being punished I'm bored I thought you will be here by now. But heey have fun it's your turn I will just drink myself to sleep.

Zama: I'm sorry babe I will make it up to you I promise. Call Nad or drive over to her house.

Lisa: I can't she texted me and said she had company I guess Anga is still there.

Zama: What? Now I can't wait to hear all about it. But for now, girl bye and be good okay? I will call you.

Zama felt bad for her friend but there was nothing she could do because she waited almost a decade for this moment. Her focus was on him she felt excited about spending some time with him.

Zama: That was Lisa. You know I forgot to ask where she got your number.

Elam: She said she got it from Kyle.

Zama: Ooh I didn't know there were contacting each other. It seems like your friends are trying their luck with my friends and I don't know how to feel about that.

Elam: What do you mean, you don't know how to feel about that?

Zama: They're my girls I wouldn't like it if they were trying to take advantage of them.

Elam: Why's it everyone a perpetrate with you? I know them they're good people and single so if they liked what they saw why not.

Zama: (She rolled her eyes) they better be good as you telling me or I swear...

Elam: Enough about your friends. I wanna know about you.

Zama: What about me?

Elam: What have you been doing with who?

Zama: Nothing interesting. I studied hard fortunately it did pay off. Ooh, and my love life really sucked but I did have someone. Such a good man...

He interrupted her

Elam: Okay thanks but I ain't interested to hear about your boyfriends. I asked about you

Zama smirked to the side when she sensed jealousy from him.

Zama: We all have a past Elam.

Elam: If that past includes men I don't wanna hear about it. Like you loved another man Zee that just so...

Zama: So what? It's not like you were wherever you were not dating so yeah. It happened I can't be mad about that.

Elam: I guess you have a point. But the thought of you and yooh! it just drives me crazy.

Zama: Well it's life, my brother.

Elam: Brother?

Zama: Yes. (She laughed at his facial expression)

Elam: Ooh yeah so do brothers do it like this?

He lifted her from the couch to his lap faced each other and started kissing her with hunger she responded again things got heated as he tried to break from the kiss but she couldn't let him.

At Zama's apartment..

Zama got in her place and took off her shoes after a long day at work. She went to her bedroom and changed into comfortable clothes and headed to the kitchen to pour herself something to drink when she was disturbed by a harsh knock at her door.

She wondered who that maybe just when she was about to open up Lisa barged in she didn't wait for her to open the door for her.

Zama: Wooh slow down girlfriend. You almost knocked me off.

Lisa: I should have knocked the hell out of you.

Zama: (She laughed at her dramatic friend) I guess I deserve that and I am sorry I had hectic patients this week my friend. Look at me I'm exhausted....

Lisa: You are glowing that's what I'm looking at. Don't worry you are forgiven, girlfriend.
(There was a knock again) That's Nad.

Zama: Ooh wow y'all are sneaky it's a nice surprise though.

Nad came in with two bottles of Moet Champagne.

Nadia: Hey girlfriend (She hugged them)

Zama: Someone is happy and what are we celebrating?

Lisa: I am so excited. Yeees baby Moet! Now we are talking.

Nadia: It wouldn't be a celebration without our favorite Champaign ladies.

Zama: Yeees! But what is this celebration you talking about am I missing something?

Nadia: Clearly you are my darling. ( There was another soft knock on the door) Pizza is here!

She rushed to open the door

Zama: Pizza always reminds me back in Varsity. (She sounded very excited)

They sat on the couches and started eating.

Lisa: So girls I have been dying to hear all about what you have been up to lately.

Nadia: Same old my friend just rounds at the hospital...

Lisa: No, no I didn't come here to hear about Hospitals and damn patients. I'm here to hear about your weekends with your boyfriends.

Zama: Wooh! no need to shoot. Let me just say I am in love.
(She blushed)

Lisa took the bottle of champagne then boom she screamed out her lungs.

Lisa: To us being in love!

The girls looked at her surprised because of the "Us" part then they all laughed.
