STILL AT THE EVENT...

There were not many people invited just family and friends. There was LeeAnn Kyle's sister who was also a photographer and his husband Mike.  Their parents couldn't come, there were out of the country on a vacation Kyle's family was Elam's family too because they took him in and treated him like one of their own.

Maya finally arrived to surprise her daughter she was happy for them. There was Mlindo the Vocalist accompanied by ShaSha they were gonna perform the "Ngithanda Wena" song.

Everything was set. There were waiting on the couple now.

AT ZAMA'S APARTMENT...

Zama: Thank you for all this I owe you one.

Litha: It's an honour and it's part of my job so I'm doing my job and I had to come and monitor him I wanted this night to be perfect for you.

Zama: Thank you guys you did an excellent job.

Her phone vibrated. She looked at the text.

Litha: Is that him?

Zama: Yep he's downstairs. I got to go. Please remind me to send an EFT tomorrow and thank you again.

Litha: Have fun. Don't worry I will sort everything out.

When the elevator finally opened she Zama in a White short vintage dress with white bottom red stiletto heels. He smiled wider in a simple white casual suit. He became more nervous when it hit him that the woman he was staring at might spend the rest of his life with or it could go the other way around. He let out a big sigh when she finally reached him they hugged.

Elam: Hello beautiful

Zama: Hey handsome.

They kissed

Elam: You look, beautiful baby

Zama: Thank you (She blushed) you cleaned up pretty good too. So where are we going?

Elam: It's a surprise baby.

Zama: Mmh I like that you seem to have a lot of those today but I ain't complaining baby I mean look at your woman this dress is amazing thank you baby.

Elam: You have already thanked me baby and I only want the finest things in life for my baby. (He kissed her cheek) Now shall we?

Zama: Of course baby.

They walk in a Limousine. She was shocked to see her ride. He opened the door for her and they got in. He was sweating he poured a glass of Champagne and handed it over to her and poured it for him too before he drank he looked at her and said "To us" and then gulped it down.

Zama: Are you alright?

Elam: Yeah baby I'm fine. It's hot in here.

Zama: No baby it's not hot here. It's beautiful you know it's my first time riding this car I feel really special.

Elam: You are special and I will always show you how special you are. You deserve all this and more.

Zama: Haaah! Baby, you are so sweet.

Within 20 minutes they were at the venue that was also their house. Zama was only focused on her man giggling and having the time of her life.

Elam: We are here baby.

The driver opened the door for them. She smiled at him as a thank-you gesture.

Zama: You sure went all out here baby. What is this place I love it, baby? (She jumped like a little girl)

Elam's heart was beating very fast he was feeling all kinds of emotions.

Elam: I'm glad you like it, baby. Just follow my lead. (He held her hand)

The venue was decorated in White and Peach with a little bit of Silver touch, those were her favorite colours.

There were Silver and White lit candles and Peach Flowers surrounded the lake. A pure White carpet to walk in. She stood at the entrance not knowing where to walk in because it was a Paradise. She looked at Elam with questioning eyes because it was now clear to her that something was up. The venue, the empty tables, and the whole thing were suspicious. But she wasn't in yet to see everything.

Zama: What going on here baby?  Are you sure we are in a right place?

Elam: Yes we are Angel. It's all for you. came running to hug her and the family they were truly happy.

Anga: Congratulations son I raised you well. (They hugged)

Elam: Thank you Dad I learned a lot from you ( He was being sarcastic)

They laughed and hugged again

Kyle: That's how a real man handles his business I'm proud of you man.

Elam: Yeah I hope you will learn a thing or two. But I couldn't have done it without your help fellas. (They hugged)

Zama was busy with her friends admiring her ring and she was so happy.

Anga: Everyone! Be seated, please. Now we going to have a toast to our new fiancee.
(He was holding champagne in his hand and opened it)

To Love and Happiness let's drink.

To my brother and a friend, I want to say I wish you all the best. You deserve all this happiness and Zama take care of my man here. What you both have is rare don't take it for granted. I love you man.
