2 Months Time

Today you felt chills unlike any other chills. The hair on your neck stood up, and you felt as if you were being electrocuted.

And that chill was very familiar. You could tell what it was from anywhere you were; anytime. It was so familiar.

It was the same feel you got every time you revisited the cursed home. It could be described as the feeling of your worst fear. Tripled.

Two whole months had already passed. Everyday seemed to pass in slow-motion now as you trudged wearily on, trying to forget the date.

___

"Natsu! It's too cold. Please, can we go back inside?"

It was Natsu's birthday, and he had insisted on waiting outside, looking up at the stars. He tightened his scarf.

"Then you should've brought out your winter jacket." He stuck his tongue out at you playfully. After a moment of you glaring at him, he grinned.

"Just kidding." He untied the scarf, and held out one end to you. "Are you that cold?"

You look at him, confused. "What am I going to do with one end of a scarf, Natsu?"

"Body heat, (Y/N)! Since the fire I created wasn't good enough." He began to sulk again.

You stare at him. "A fire that big could've lit the trees on fire!"

He continued sulking.

You sigh, and scooted closer to him. "You're so childish." You laugh, and wrap the other end around your neck, leaning against Natsu for support.

"You're heavy." He whined, as you turn pink. "What!?" You demanded, now pouting. He laughed again and kissed you gently.

"Just kidding." He whispered. You felt a warm sensation in your chest, as you take in his strongly-built frame, pink hair, signature scarf, and those beautiful eyes.

Sighing, you sit in his lap. "What, now I can't see!" You hear him laugh, teasingly. "Natsu, we both know you can see very well!" You laugh, swatting his arm.

You lean against him, your eyes almost closing in happiness when he put his arms around you. "Hey, look. The stars are finally out."

You widen your eyes as you stare up into the dark sky; focusing on the faint dot that appeared. You two stayed there for a while in silence.

You stood up. "Okay. You saw the stars. Now can we go back in?"

He nods his head.

"You are ridiculous and high-maintenance."

Giving back his scarf, you run for the warm temperature in the apartment.

Once inside, you immediately feel the warm air greeting you and the familiar smell.

You know how houses all have distinctive smells because the people living within them are all different?

That's the smell of home.

Plume and Happy were sitting at the kitchen table, waiting impatiently for the cake.

As you walked towards them, you could feel something go horribly wrong. It's hard to describe-

Those chills arrived, as your eyes widened in fear and panic that you weren't sure why you were feeling.

Perhaps it was-
