Three Loving Words

A Few Days Later...

"Daddy!" Lucas had seemed fully comfortable with calling you and Natsu, mommy and daddy.

No one came up for Lucas, which made you happy and a little bit sad for him.

You watched Lucas play with Natsu happily on the sandy beach, splashing around.

"Mommy! Come play with us!" Lucas called out to you, his fingertips reaching towards you.

You laugh from under the shady beach umbrella. "I'll be there in a second. Mommy's getting sunscreen on."

Slathering the white mixture over your legs, you shiver from the coldness.

You ran over to Natsu and Lucas, who were counting their seashells. Your heart warmed when you saw Natsu laugh and tease Lucas. Aww, they look so cute.

You walk up to them, the wind ruffling your long hair. Your brown and white bikini felt so warm under the sun.

Creeping up to Natsu and Lucas, you plop down between them, and give them two sweet kisses.

Natsu grinned, and brushed his lips against yours, teasingly. Lucas gazed up at you and Natsu, his eyes sparkling. "Kiss mommy! Kiss mommy, daddy!" He clapped his hands.

You laugh, when unexpectedly, Natsu placed his lips over yours. You pull back from surprise. Natsu winked at you. "He told me to do it."

Lucas laughed, and immediately ran away to where the sea water lapped at the sandy beach.

"Lucas, be careful!" Natsu turned to face the boy, and got up. He offered you a hand, and pulled you up.

Walking hand in hand, you went back to play with Lucas.

Of course, slipping in a few playful kisses with Natsu.

"What!? (Y/N)-san, you had a baby?!" Juvia shrieked, immediately alarming the whole guild.

You look at her. "Really. It's only been, what, 5 days seen you've saw me. I never had a baby bump right? I'm not pregnant!"

She points behind you. "Then who's that child?"

You turn around. There, Lucas sat atop Natsu's shoulders, laughing and playing with his hair.

"Oh, who's the dad, (Y/N)?" Mira teased, as she walked past, her high heels clacking against the floor.

The guild hooted, and Makarov seemed to be in the middle of all the action. "(Y/N) had a kid!"

You stared at him, and his party hat. This attracted Natsu's attention. He snuggled up to you, Lucas now in his arms. "What's up?"

"You tell me what's up..." You gestured at the guild members, who were staring at Lucas.

"Woooow!" They roared. "Natsu and (Y/N) had such a cute baby!"

You flushed pink. "No, Lucas isn't..." You trailed off when you realized they weren't listening. They were too busy cooing over Lucas.

"Mommy, who are these people?" Lucas's large eyes flitted to your face. "These are mommy and daddy's family." Natsu said, sweeping his eyes over the crowd, who turned teary-eyed at his words.

Lucas burst into a grin, and wiggled out of Natsu's arms. "It's nice to meet you, family." He shyly said, the tips of his ears bright red.

"Well, then I guess we canceled that fancy party. We forgot to go, didn't we?" You blankly looked at Natsu, who shrugged.

"Oh well, whatever." You rub your nose against Lucas's, teasingly.
