(Y/N) paid a visit to her old manor, hoping to find out more about the mysterious woman- who she found out- named Ayaka.
But her mother appears, telling her there's a prophesy that involves Rin...?
___
The air was thick and tense. "How do you know she would destroy the world? Have you seen how kind and beautiful my daughter is?"
"Oh wait." You paused. "You haven't. Because I wouldn't dare let someone like you near her."
"Was that supposed to hurt?" Asked your mother. "It didn't really affect me, whatsoever." She shrugged, seeming like a childish young lady.
"The only reason we had a child was so that someone would be the heir." She turned to you, her eyes cold and gray. "I heard you didn't accept the wealth."
"I don't want your money."
"Ah, well. That's a shame." But she said it in such a way, that you figured she didn't care either way.
"So in the end- it was the Dragneel boy, was it?"
Your eyes looked up at her for just a second.
"So your daughter..."
Your mother waved her hand- dark tendrils appeared and weaved together, creating an image.
In it, you could see Rin happily bubbling as she laughed with Lucas.
"Pink hair. She takes after him, doesn't she?" Your mother waved her hand again- and the image dispersed.
"So that's the child that's destined to end the world..." She mused as she studied the child. "Anyway. That kid is dangerous."
"Absolutely not." You laughed. "What is you plan for all this?" You ridiculed.
"Originally, I was going to get Ayaka to get Rila and Rin- and bring them here. Rila would heal me, and we would have gotten rid of Rin."
She sighed. "But it didn't work out. And now your poor mother is going to die."
"Are you delirious?!" You slammed your palm against the wall. "That's my kid you're talking about!"
"It doesn't matter anymore. If you get rid of this one, it wouldn't matter if you had a few more, later."
"Children are not objects." You said, staring at her.
"I knew it. I should've gotten rid of her the moment she was born- so you wouldn't get so attached." Your mother shrugged.
"You don't know for sure that Rin would destroy the world."
"Actually, it's a fifty-fifty chance. It all depends on the amount of evil exposed to her. This is just a warning, (Y/N)-"
"Just get out of my business. I'll take care of it."
You turned to leave. "Also..." You leaned back, your head aligned so you could properly look at her.
"I don't really care if you live or not."
At your words, Ayaka turned pale. Your mother didn't respond, but you could see the smirk on her face as you left.
___
With heavy breathing, you arrived at your front door.
Lifting a weak hand, you pushed it open after inserting the key in.
