To be honest, you were completely freaking out. When Lucas had collapsed before, he seemed...
Weak, helpless...and in pain. Being someone so close to Lucas, you desperately wished you could just take all his pain away.
You lay him down on his bed, watching him carefully. A few minutes later you left the room, and brought him water.
Setting it on his bed drawer, you approached him.
He was breathing heavily, his cheeks and forehead still flushed.
You moved his sweaty hair out of his eyes as he appeared to sleep.
"(Y/N)...?"
'Ah...I left Natsu sleeping.'
As you went into your bedroom, you leaned against the wall.
"Guess who's sick?"
Natsu got up hurriedly, and placed his hands on your arms. "Are you sick...?" He breathed.
You almost smiled, and shook your head. "It's Lucas."
With wide eyes, Natsu quickly walked to Lucas. Soon, you could hear him talking to his son in low whispers.
"Are you sick?"
"Like really, really sick?"
"Daddy would put on a play for you if it meant you wouldn't be sick..."
"Lucas...c'mon buddy, you can't be sick-"
You placed your hand on his back. He stood up, unexpectedly, and was about to walk out, when he turned and smiled.
"He's going to be okay."
Giving him the smallest smile ever, you trailed behind him out the door- closing it after you.
"Um, Natsu?" You started, hesitantly.
He turned around. "Yeah?" He seemed less cheerful, and his movements weren't so fluid anymore.
"I need to go and check out the Jobs." You cracked a smile. "Can you hold down the fort for me?"
He smiled again. "Leave it to me."
You gave him a peck on the lips, before hurrying to the door. "I'll be back by..."
You glanced out the window. Afternoon. The sun was still up. "I'll be back before night."
Natsu nodded.
Opening the door and stepping out, you felt a tug on your clothing. Looking back, you noticed Natsu.
"What?" You asked, stepping back inside.
"Who are you...goin' with?" He asked, a bit hesitant.
Your eyebrow raised. "Gray?"
"Don't let that bastard do anything," he chided. Giving you a kiss on your forehead, he waved.
"Now go save some people for me."
With a smile, you nodded and gave him a friendly salute. "Will do, captain."

You glared at Gray. "We're- what?!" He gave you a serious look. "We need to go back to the village. People have reported of seeing ghosts and people."
"...I don't do ghosts." You commented.
"Juvia doesn't either-"
With a scream, you jumped up onto Gray. "Juvia?!"
