It was all fun and games at Rin's first birthday party. Everyone at Fairy Tail was having a lovely time. But when Rin uttered something you would never have dreamed of, your breath falls short...how did she know the incantation?

___

Almost at once, dark and daunting shadows rose from a messily wrapped present. You felt like your next breath was caught in your throat as you got a closer look.

It was, indeed, the katana from your nightmares.

"No way..." You muttered, as Gray acted quickly, and froze the katana on the spot. Your eyes turned to Rin, who seemed to be warily looking at the ice mage.

"What was that...?" A worried voice spoke from behind you. You turned, and saw a terrified-looking Levy. "That's just like...in my dream." She spoke, her voice wavering.

___

"Explain. What did you see in your dream?" You asked, taking a seat in the corner table. Levy- seated across from you, had a serious look on her face.

"I don't know what that was, (Y/N), but I had a dream a few days ago." Levy still seemed wary of herself, after what happened between you two.

Your eyes darted around the room as she talked. The party streamers were still up, contrasting to the gloom that was in the room.

"I...I saw a woman with pink hair. She had a sword just like the one today." Levy stammered, trying to tell you everything. "She was- it was...it gave off a horrible aura."

"I know. Did the katana have weird engravings on it?"

Levy shook her head. "An enchant was on it, though."

"An enchant?" You leaned towards her. "What enchant?" At your question, Levy scrunched up her face, trying to think. "I think it was something like...ignis ed gladius?"

"Ignis et Gladius?"

"That's it!" Levy snapped her fingers. "Yes, that was what I saw! And it was written in a curly English too...it was hard to read. What does it mean, (Y/N)?"

You hesitated. "It means fire and sword."

"Fire? Like Natsu's and your magic?" She asked, her eyes widening. "That's what I've been thinking." You answered. "But how did she learn to wield a sword?"

"There's a bit more." Levy stopped, her face pale. "I saw...Erza in my dream, being all friendly with Rin."

"You don't think..." You didn't really want to continue. There was a pit of swirling emotions in your stomach, already. "She is the one who gifted Rin the weapon." Levy said, confirming your fears.

"She- what?!"

"You didn't know?"

"No!"

Levy bit her lip. "Erza said she got it handcrafted by a professional. Said it was terribly expensive, too." At this, you tilted your head. "Professional, huh?"

"Yeah- oh, there she is now."

You looked to where she pointed. Indeed, the powerful mage was just walking in, the katana by her side. "Erza!" You gave her a yell.

She turned to you, and walked over. "Sorry. I heard that there was something wrong with this?" She set the weapon on the table, gently.

"Erza- actually, can you take me to the person who crafted this for you?"

Erza didn't look surprised. "Okay. Do you have time, now?"

"Actually, we just finished." Levy smiled. "(Y/N)'s all yours." You looked back, and gave her a smile. "You can come with, you know?"
