Now

"Look- there it is."

Our small group looked out beyond where my finger pointed, as we approached Republic City. There were a few smalls cheers, and sighs of relief- I would think mostly for the fact that the junk-boat got us here in one piece.

"We should dock within the hour."

"Um, I would say two or three Varrick." He looked at me, "Don't worry Master Bri- I got this!" He then rushed into the small cabin and with a lung and roar of the engine we begun to speed along.

My eyes scanned the City, all looking well. Yet, I couldn't shake this strange feeling I had. To be honest it was a feeling I had been dealing with for a while now but I had ignored it. Nothing had happened so I saw no reason to give it any more of my attention. Now, now it was stronger than before and that made me nervous.

"You excited to get back to Tenzin and Korra?" I looked over to Bolin, my eyebrows rising as I was taken from my thoughts.

"Um, yeah, yeah I am."

"What else are you thinking about- and don't deny it. I know you too well Bri."

"Something's coming. Something big."

"Uh, yeah, that's call Kuvira and her super weapon." I shook my head and looked back towards the City. Crossing my arms over my, still healing but barely painful, chest, I bit my lip.

"It's not Kuvira. I can't explain how or why I'm feeling this, but I just know something is coming. Something bigger than Kuvira's super weapon... I just hope it doesn't destroy us all."

~~~
The boat docked, and after a very quick goodbye, we were off. I took off first, leaving Varrick and Bolin to catch up. They screamed at me to stop and questioned me as to where I was going. I answered with 'City Hall, where else would a world leader's meeting be?' And despite my wound- it was still very hard to breathe, I forced myself forward until I couldn't any more. So I took off on my glider- man how I love that thing.
We rushed through the halls of the City Hall building, and when we came to the meeting room Bolin and I pushed the double doors open.
"Guys! Oh, perfect! You're all here." Bolin hunched over and huffed for air.
"Bolin? Bri?" I looked to Opal and Korra.
"Told you I'd get them!" I let out a breathy laugh but found my hand going to my side as the pain wavered through. Wasn't the best idea to run... at all.
"What are they doing here?! Guards, remove these traitors!" At Raiko's command, the guards seized Bolin and Varrick. I stood frozen between the two, still free.
"No- wait- Riako, they escaped- we all escaped- you have to listen to them!"
"She-she's right! We escaped Kuvira's army!" he looked at the council, "We're back on your side now!" They began to pull the two away, and I protested looking from them, to Riako, to even my Aunt. "We have top secret information for you!"
"He's telling the truth! You have to let them go!" I looked at Riako, hating that I had to plead to the man. But after thinking, he nodded his head thus setting Bolin and Varrick free. "Okay, I guess we should've opened with that line." I glared at Varrick.
"Listen to me. Kuvira's making this thing that goes-" Bolin then made a bunch of random, noises, "-I don't know how it works, but it has this-" he made more noises. With a sigh, I rubbed my palm across my fore head. Beside me, Varrick stepped up.
"It's a super weapon! Like a regular weapon, only super."
"And let me guess: it has something to do with spirit vines." I lifted my head, and nodded at Korra.
