Mako and Bolin were quick to get to Korra and Zabri once awake. Mako took Korra and Bolin took Zabri. They then turned, and watched as Unalaq transformed into a huge beast.
“Now, ten thousand years of darkness begins!”
The Unalaq beast reached up, and touched the sky. With a huge blast, they were all sent flying, as the beast escaped into the sky.

“They’re over here- Korra, Zabri, please wake up.”
“They're gonna be alright. But I need to get them into some spirit water. Right away.”
Tenzin picked up Korra, Kya helped Bumi get Mako and Bolin moved and then finally Tenzin went back for Zabri, tossing her over his shoulder as he held Korra in his arms.. Her body was semi-stiff, her lips were a faint blue and her whole face had turn three shades lighter then it’s normal tone. Laying her in the water, her whole body released an eerie feeling.
Kya then began her work, moving the healing water back and forth. Korra sat up first, with Mako and Bolin quick to follow. Zabri, remained unchanged.
“Is-is she going to be alright?”
Kya’s brow furred down.
“I-I-I want to say yes, but… I’m not getting anything from her. I can’t feel any spiritual presence within, but I’ll keep trying.”
“You must! She must wake up. Korra, Mako, Bolin, Thank goodness you all are okay.”
“Did you find Jinora?”
“I was able to rescue her soul, but she wasn't ready to return to her body yet. She sensed that the world was in grave danger.”
“She was right.”
“Were you able to stop Unalaq and Vaatu?”
“No. They fused, then Vaatu ripped Raava right out of me and destroyed her. Vaatu won.”
Bolin and Mako joined Korra out of the water; Kya still working on Zabri.
“No. I am too young to live through ten thousand years of darkness. Korra, can't you talk to one of your past lives or something?”
“When Vaatu destroyed Raava, he destroyed my connection to the past Avatars too.”
“The cycle is over. I'm the last Avatar. I'm so sorry, Tenzin.”
Tenzin met Kya’s gaze and she gave him the ‘look’. The ‘she needs you’ look. A few seconds went by, before Kya moved over to Tenzin. She rested a hand on his shoulder.
“Tenzin, I hate to bare even more bad news, but it’s not working…She’s gone, Tenzin. Zabri is gone.”
The whole group looked to the teenager lying in the water; motionless.
“No- she can’t be!”
Tenzin pushed through the small group, falling down to Zabri’s still body. As he picked it up, her head swung lifelessly back. He pulled her upper part from the water, holding her to his chest. Shaking his head, he mumbled some words to her before gently placing her back down. He ran one hand down the side of her face, before facing the group. Standing he looked to Korra and started to move towards her once more.
“The other Avatars may not be able to help you anymore, but, perhaps I can.”
“No one can help me now.”
“I know I haven't been the best mentor to you. But I realized it was because I had a lot of spiritual growth to do myself. There may still be a way for you to stop Vaatu.”
