“Zabri, are you not going to eat anything? Are you feeling okay?”
I looked up from my empty plate, which I’ll admit I was spacing out as I stared at it, and up to my former master.
“Um, no, no. I’m not that hungry,” I ran a hand through my hair, pushing it back from my face; “I’m tired. I had a hard time sleeping last night. Nothing more, I’ll be fine.” I gave him a small smile, pushing my hair back again, and that seemed to satisfy him. I wasn’t hungry, that was the truth, but it wasn’t because I was tired. It was the ever looming rock in my stomach. The spirit world was off, I could feel it. Maybe it was because of Kuvira and her vine cutting, but I felt like it was something else. As if it was trying to warn me. Or maybe I was going crazy.

“The borders are secure and troops are guarding the rail lines into the city. So what have you two geniuses come up with to fend off Kuvira?” President Raiko looked at Varrick and Asami. Asami begun to lay out schematics.
“It's a flying mecha suit!” Varrick strikes the paper, to Asami’s annoyance “Asami got the idea from watching dragonfly-hummingbirds. You can take off straight up, fly in any direction-”
“-Where does the spirit ray come out?” I slowly turned my head, allowing it to tip as casted the hardest glare at Raiko. It was official; he was down to -469 on my dislike meter.
“It doesn't have a spirit ray. I'm telling you what I told Kuvira: That technology should not be used!”
“It's already being used by Kuvira! I need spirit vine weapons and I need them now!”
“Are you for real?” I stepped up towards him, my anger flaring, “You don’t need spirit vines. They are not yours nor Kuvira’s to have! Varrick was a stupid oaf and started to mess with something he shouldn’t. Spirit vines are not ours they are a direct link to the spirits- they belong to them! I seriously thought my aunt would have gotten through to you but you are coming to be no better than Kuvria!”
“I’m protecting my people- including you!”
“I DON’T DARE NEED YOU TO PROTECT ME!” I inched closer to him, my voice raising. “You need ME to protect these people! You don’t do anything but sit high and mighty in your office hidden away! You banned Korra from the city- TWICE! She’s the avatar! How is that a smart move at all? You’re nothing but a coward! A stupid, no good, idiotic, old son of a-”
“Bri!” Korra’s voice cut me off. She rested a hand on my shoulder, “step back, Bri, step back.” Looking at her a nodded, but as I moved a few steps back I kept my glare on Raiko.
“Thank you, Avatar Korra. At least some one can agree with me.”
“No. It was Kuvira's harvesting of the vines in the swamp that caused the Republic City vines to go crazy and grab all those people. Bri is right, to a point. Those vines aren’t ours.”
“You're supposed to be the bridge between the two worlds. Why can't you harvest the vines?”
“I won't do that. But maybe since the spirits love Republic City so much, I can convince them to help us defend it somehow.” He looked at her and with a ‘hm’ gave her a curt nod.
“Okay, maybe while the weapon geniuses and the spirit bridge are getting ready for battle, we should be evacuating the ordinary citizens so that if Kuvira attacks, they won't be hurt.” We all looked at Wu, slightly surprised.
“That's ... actually a good idea.” With a single blink, Raiko regained himself, “Prince Wu, you work with the police to coordinate getting people out of the city. Now everyone get to it. I want daily updates.”
We left the council building, Mako going off with Wu and I was once again walking with Korra.
“So you’re heading over to the spirit wilds?”
“Yeah, wanna come? I could really use your help since you could be considered a spirit.”
“Oh ha, ha. Sorry, but I think I’m good actually. I think I’m going to head back to the Island; I have a new battle outfit I’ve been working on the past few nights. I haven’t been sleeping much.”
“You don’t like the new Air bending outfits do you?”
“I never said that.”
“Yes but I’ve never seen you wear them- once.”
“Well excuse me if I don’t want to look like a flying squirrel!”
“A what?”
“It’s just what it looks like me.”
“Oh… So you don’t like them.”
“No, and I will lose my right to walk before I wear one of those things. Oh, oh my gosh Korra I am so sorry I didn’t-”
“It’s fine. Look, I better get going. See you later?”
“Yeah, see you later!”
Opening my glider I took off, the island in sight.
#WhatWillHappenInTheFinalChapters
Okay guys, this is it! We are entering the final hours of the book! There are THREE chapters of the series left! Which is why this chapter is so short. I want each chapter of book 4 to try to be it's own chapter here. As I mentioned a few chapters ago, I will be doing a final Q&A after the epilogue. Now, these questions can be about anything related to this Book that have yet to be answered (Look to the mid-book Q&A). I want to hear from you all, and there are a few ways you can ask your question:
1. Entering them in the comments below. This is the easiest way in my personal opinion, and if you want you can even put the Twitter hash tag beside your question. (See # 3.)
2. Private Message me. You can PM me on here OR on my Facebook (Link is found in my profile) This is to keep your question from the world- because I do not put who asked the question in the official Q&A.
3. The newest way to ask a question comes through Twitter! My official twitter is @AT_Judge, so you can tweet it to me OR you can use the hash tag #AskATJ
Please, don't be afraid to ask a question. I am very open, I swear. Now I have a question for you that I would L-O-V-E for all of my 100+ readers to answer;
When this story comes to an end, will you read some of my other work? Are you already doing so? Will you contuie with your support?
Can I still count you as one of my people?
