Book 3 Prologue
Dear Grandfather,
It was discovered, more or less, upon our return to Republic City that vines and plants have over taken the city. They grow through not just buildings and roads- but are so dense and thick that whole areas of the city are no longer livable. The public is not happy one bit. In the recent poll it’s said Korra only holds 8% of support of the citizens of the city. She swears she’ll find a way to get rid of the vines and get everyone back in their homes, and I have faith in her. Though she may only have 8% of support from the citizens, she has 100% of my support. I believe Korra can do it. Tell me, grandfather, did the Fire Nation change at all since the merging of the worlds? Have you made any contact with grandmother? I’m very sure that if she has access to our world than you shall be the first person she’d come to visit. Maybe even great Uncle will pay a visit sometime. I told you how we met in my letter a few weeks ago explaining everything that happened at the South Pole. I promise to keep you updated in our tales and adventures- the news can be so dramatic or bias sometimes; it is good to get a personal firsthand account. I look forward to your response letter and hope to see you once more.
Your granddaughter, Zabri
Dear Kwon,
It was discovered, more or less, upon our return to Republic City that vines and plants have over taken the city. Unfortunately, with the overtaking vines, Tenzin has offered a place for Mako and Bolin. You remember them, right? I’ve spoken of them before. I thought it would be quite horrible for Korra and me to be living with our exs; but Mako has been quite “busy” at the police station these past few days and been staying there. Bolin hasn’t been as bad as I thought it’d be. I believe we’ve both grown to a mutual friendship-agreement and it is something I can live with. I’m very happy to be home, and am looking forward for the coming weeks. My goal is to help Korra with the vine issue and then I shall go from there. In a response to your last letter, I hope you very much think about all your decisions. While you may think you’ll love the army or navy, it will not be easy. However hard you may ever believe it to be, it will most likely be ten times that. If you chose to go that direction, I’m sure your parents will accept it with time. You are their eldest and they wish to protect you in every humanly possible way. I also plan on taking you up on that offer of another lunch with tea during my next visit to the Fire Nation- so you better be there active duty or not.
Sincerely, Zabri
Hello peoples! I just got finished watching the first five minutes preview of season 3 on Nick.com and decided to release the Prologue despite the fact that the first THREE chapters of book 3 don't come out until Friday. These letters are written a few weeks before the first episode of the season and thus can be put out now. I'm very happy at the moment, still riding on the fan-girl wave, I wanted to write this prologue as a letter (or two). Low and behold I got to! So yes, I shall see you soon, and if you read this after the seasons premiere, please feel free to discuss the episodes below. I'd love to discuss with you all!
