You had a secret. A secret so horrid Hermione would be pissed if she knew. And it was under your blanket. You felt the dragons scales under your fingers, and you smiled gently at it. This baby dragon acted just like a puppy. He gently chewed your hand, teething.

You giggled. "Hey there little one..." You whispered, smiling at him. He licked your cheek when you bent down. You stroked down his snout. "Beautiful boy..." You muttered. Suddenly, Hermione burst in. "Love! Guess what!"

You quickly straightened up, but the lump in your blankets was indisguisable. Hermione looked at you with suspicion. "What the hell is under your blanket?" You looked at her, feeling panicky.

"Um... It's a rock love!" Hermione squinted at you. "You Hufflepuffs and your inability to lie well..." She pulled your blanket off your dragon quickly, and she gasped with shock.

"....Is that what I think it is?" You laughed nervously. "His name is Rock..." She looked at the dragon, then turned to you. "Babe, you can't keep him!"

You looked defensive. "Why not?! He's gentle and calm! He causes no harm!" Hermione facepalms and sighs. She looks at you gently. "I know you love him, I can tell. But you literally can't keep him."

You looked at her sadly. "What do you have against dragons?" Hermione looked you dead in the eye. "It's fucking illegal to keep a pet dragon Y/N! I'm not letting my girlfriend go to Azkaban over a baby dragon!"

Your face became pale. "O-oh..." Hermione kissed you gently. "It's okay love. We'll sort this out..." You looked at Hermione, eyes wide. "Can't we give him to Hagrid?" Hermione shook her head. "He'd keep him. No, we have to set him loose in the Forbidden Forest."

"B-but....I don't wanna go in there..." Hermione cocked her head to the side. "Why not?" You pet Rock and whimpered. "It's scary..." She kissed your head. "I'll have Harry do it. He has an Invisibility Cloak."

You nodded, smiling at Hermione. "Thanks for helping me out..." Hermione kissed your head. "Anytime love." You smiled cheekily at her.

"I got used to cuddling Rock at night and I need an alternative. Will you snuggle with me instead?" Hermione grinned. "Obviously."
