Can I kiss you?

You and Hermione were sitting in Gryffindor common room. You had started dating a month, and things have been quite romantic between the two of you.

She sat in your lap as you combed your fingers through her hair. She giggled softly, loving the way you make her feel.

She looked into your e/c eyes, her own eyes reflecting the look in yours. They were glistening with pure love and admiration. You had no clue, until you met Hermione, that such a beautiful creature existed. And now, she was in your lap, looking at you with endless love.

You both stared into each others eyes for a few moments, before her eyes began glancing down at your lips. You felt your cheeks flush, your heart hammering in your chest. You wanted to kiss her.  Badly. And you knew she felt the same.

Before you could awkwardly attempt to kiss her, Hermione spoke. "Can I kiss you?" She asked breathlessly. You could feel her heart beating and you understood the intense look in her eyes. She had no idea that you wanted this just as bad.

"Please do." You retorted, your voice just above a whisper. You're heart skipped a beat as her face got closer to yours, her hand caressing your cheek. And then, you felt her lips on yours.

You pulled her closer, reciprocating the kiss. You felt the figurative butterflies fluttering in your stomach. You had never experienced anything like this. It felt so right. You never wanted it to end.

But then, unfortunately, the two of you pulled away for air. Though you were both out of breath, the look in you and Hermione's eyes was indescribable. Yet so readable.

As you both caught your breath, you smiled like an idiot. "I..." You didn't know what else to say. But Hermione didn't either. So she kissed you again. And this night couldn't be more perfect.
