Damian grew up in an abusive household, never knowing the true love and support of his parents.

He endured this for years, but once he grew close to being an adult, he had finally had enough. Tired of being mistreated and abused by them, he finally snapped and killed both of his parents by freezing his entire home with his black ice.

However, he soon realized that he also accidentally killed someone close to him: his dog friend Kano that he loved very dearly.

After realizing this, he immediately wanted to kill himself for what he had done to his best friend. However, he was unable to harm himself with his ice, being completely immune to it.

Instead, being blinded by rage and grief, he went around killing anyone who tried to harm him, as well as those who harmed innocent animals. Soon enough, he was only able to see the evil in people, and became an enraged serial killer. He fought only for the animals of his world, and lived only to protect them, until he came across two wolf dogs and their master, Marshall.

He sat alone on a bench, enjoying a nice treat that he had stolen, and Marshall sat down next to him to enjoy his own treat. Damian probably would've tried to kill him, if he didn't instantly fall in love with the two wolf dogs that accompanied the latter.

Miraculously, after they introduced themselves to each other, they actually grew a liking to one another and hung out longer than expected. In the end, Marshall didn't want to leave him, and Damian in turn didn't want him to leave.

Marshall decided to bring him home to meet his leader, wanting to give him a new place to call a home. However, when Damian first met his leader, he didn't really trust him and was greatly intimidated by him.

However, he felt that with his intimidating nature, he could protect him easily. Additionally, he wanted nothing more than to stay with Marshall and his companions.

To sweeten the deal, his leader promised to let him kill anyone he wanted, so long as he carried out his orders as well. Wanting to also eradicate anyone who harmed innocent animals and those with evil intentions, he accepted the offer.

Damian stayed, only to fulfill his own wishes, and to remain with his interesting new friend and his companions. He began his new life, under the direct tutelage of The Boss.
