Damian asked, clinging close to our group.

We Fighting Dreamers, Paramounts, Gang Stars, and all of Force 127 are currently heading to the center of Haeju City for a special reason.

It's New Years Eve, and we're giving a special gift, to The Boss.

"I'm sure. I've never been the type to not think about my enemies"

"Hyung is right. He has managed to save everyone that's been a major enemy to us so far. He even saved his uncle, and he would've brought the destruction of all worlds if hyung hadn't helped him"

Chenle added to my point.

"Still... What if he doesn't want the gift? Or what if he just kills us on the spot..?"

Jean asked, hiding behind Taeyong as we reached our destination.

"I won't take no for an answer. I want him to have this. And if he does try something, I'll do my best to protect you all"

"So, how are we gonna get him to show up??"

Robin asked, holding on to my shirt.

The Boss didn't respond with words, but he did nod a little.

Tayden suddenly came closer, deciding to join me with handing The Boss his gift box.

"Please, take it..."

He quietly begged.

The Boss hesitated for a second, but then he finally complied and took it.

He removed the top, and gazed down into the box to view its contents.

"There's a star head bopper, New Years glasses, a tiny decorative tree, a cat plushie, an envelope, and...multiple coupons?"

We couldn't see behind his mask, but he seemed confused.

"Read the red coupon"

Johnny advised him with a gentle smile, and he reluctantly read it aloud.

"...Good for seven free hugs?"

The moment he read the coupon, all of the Gang Stars ran up to him and hugged him.

The Boss dropped the box from his sudden shock, but I caught it before everything fell to the ground. He looked like he didn't know what to do, but we could see the tears that dripped down his chin behind the mask.

He hesitated again, but he finally hugged the Gang Stars, embracing them gently. He didn't want to show it before, but he finally expressed his love for the Gang Stars, even if it was only a little bit.

"Hey Boss, maybe you should open the envelope. There's a surprise for you inside"

Kun advised.

I took it out of the box for him, and he carefully opened it to find an invitation.

"You're...inviting me to your New Years party..?"

"We'd really love if you came. Take a load off and have some fun"

"Is it a private party?"

"It is~"

Taeyong happily cheered.

"I don't think I should.."

"Boss, it's New Years. You don't even have to take off your mask, and you can go back to trying to destroy us after the holiday is over. But for today, you should take a break and have some fun"

Xinya and Nitro tried to reassure and persuade him more.

The Gang Stars happily cheered, clinging to him as they walked together.

They may have been through hell with him, but it's nice to know that they still care about The Boss. I think he still cares about them too. He can't hide how he really feels about them no matter how hard he tries.
