- malapit na. - EMILY. 11:49 am.

That's what she texted 10 minutes ago, I sat up and looked outside from where I am sitting at the lobby and I don't see her anywhere. After being gone for a few more days she finally decided to come back. I offered to pick her up pero umayaw siya dahil daw makita kami ng pamilya niya. I told her she can tell them I'm her boyfriend but she quickly shot that down too. 

I don't know why she still refuses to acknowledge my existence to her family. Yun naman yung ine-expect ni Lolo na gagawin namin after we got married, so saying I was her boyfriend can help ease them to it pero ayaw parin niya. She's saying it'll be too complicated and okay na yung si Angelo lang nakaka-alam ng totoo. Isumbong ko kaya sya kay Lolo? I wonder what would happen?

I grabbed a magazine from the table and just started flipping through the pages. I was more than halfway done when I heard her voice, I immediately spotted her by the entrance, talking to none other than Nathan. Why is he always around her? I stood up and called out to her.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" She asked as I walked to them.

"What does it look like? I'm waiting for you." I answered as I casually took her bag from Nathan and as always he was just smiling at me.

"Bakit?"

"Because I'm your husband. Why is he here?" I asked sparing a glance at him.

"Don't be rude." She scolded me, Nathan laughed and said it's okay and I'm not being rude. Tch, I don't need your approval. 

"Nag-kita kami sa labas." He answered still smiling and I just ignored him.

"Let's go. Nagu-gutom na ako." I said as I grabbed her arm and dragged her to the elevator to get away from him but then she grabbed him with us.

I frowned as he waited for an elevator with us. Him and Emily was having a conversation about some band I have never heard of and they both seemed excited, when the elevator opened we all got on and somehow she gravitated closer to him instead of me.

"They're playing at 8 Monkeys tonight. Do you wanna..." He didn't get to finish his question as I pulled her close and kissed her forehead, I glared at Nathan.

"Are you okay?" She asked me as I was still hugging her.

"I just missed you." I smiled, kissed her on the mouth and licked her lips but she pulled away glaring at me.

"Well... this is my floor. I'll see you guys around." Nathan said as the elevator doors opened.

"B-bye Nathan." She waved at him as she pulled away from me.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo? We're in public."

"So pag wala na tayo sa elevator pwede na?" I teased her and she gave me a light slap on the arm but she still remained closer to me so I put my arm around her and she nestled closer. 

I woke up before Emily, she was lying on the edge of the bed with her back facing me. I scooted closer and snaked my arms around her, I breathed in and kissed the back of her neck. Who knew I'd ever feel happy to wake up with someone in my bed again. 

I felt her stir in her sleep and then suddenly lift her head up. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. I felt her try to remove my hand on her waist but instead I repositioned it and cupped her breast instead.

"Alex, alam kong gising ka na, let me go." She whined as she tried to pry my hands off.

"Shh. Go back to sleep." I told her as I put my leg over hers and pulled her closer.

"Late na, kelangan ko pang mag-shower at mag-luto ng dinner, tsaka yung kalat natin sa baba sabi mo ikaw mag-lilinis nun." 

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. Just relax." I told her as I kissed her from her nape down to her shoulders. She turned to face me and I took it as an opportunity to kiss her lips.

"Sabi mo kahapon ayaw mo nang bumili sa labas dahil nasanay ka na sa luto ko. Kaya nga pinauwi mo na ako diba?"

"Sinabi ko ba yon? I think I asked you to come home because I missed you." I teased her as I hovered over her and started leaving butterfly kisses on her face.

"I still need to shower." 

"Wanna shower together?" I asked.

"Save water, shower together." I added when she didn't say anything.

"Alex..." She whined but she made no effort to push me off her, I gently took her hand, kissed her knuckles. My lips travelling up to her shoulders then her neck. 

"If you shower with me. We can kill two birds with one stone. You get to shower and I get to play with you." I whispered as I let her hand get lost in my hair. I watch her face as she closed her eyes and bit her lip and I know I'm close to getting a yes but instead she sat up and put her hands on my shoulder.

"We need to talk." She said seriously. 

I've heard a number of women say that and it always means something bad as cliche as it sounds and normally the 'bad thing' is almost always the same thing. I took a deep breath and looked at her seriously.

"Are you pregnant?" If she is then that's fine, although I don't think I'm ready to be a father. Although I know she'll be a great mother.

"What?! Hindi! Kakatapos lang ng period ko! Why would you say that!! Ohmygod! Gusto ko lang itanong kung okay ka lang ba."  I stared at her. What? So she stopped me from seducing her to ask if I'm okay? I'm literally kissing and groping her and she wants to know if I'm okay? I think I should be the one asking her instead.

"You're killing the mood so I'm gonna say I'm not but if you lay back down, everything would be so much better." I tried to push her down but she resisted again.

"You've been acting weird lately and you're freaking me out."

"How am I acting weird?"

"Madalas kang mag-text or tumawag, pinauwi mo ko kasi sabi mo nami-miss mo ko, hinalikan mo ko in public and you've been all over me ever since we came home. Sabi kasi ni Gigi madalas daw yung pag-o-overtime mo sa work and sa tuwing nag-uusap kami parati daw kayong busy. So maybe you're stressed and that's why you're insatiable."

I stared at her, did she honestly just say that? I was seducing her and she thinks I'm f*cking burnt out? What the f*ck?! She's seriously messing with my ego, it's one thing that she seems to be immune to my charms but to mistake seduction for something so lame as me being burnt out? And she says I'm insatiable? 

"How am I insatiable? When you were the one clinging to me just hours ago and didn't want me to stop?" Her face instantly reddened. 

"Seryoso ako!"

"I am too! I'm seducing you because I want to make up for lost time and you think I'm using you to release stress? You weren't here so of course I was texting and calling you to keep in touch because you didn't want me to come see you! Masama na bang ma-miss ka? I was texting and calling you because I wanted to know how you are, I was being nice and sweet and you think I'm stressed out and clingy?!" 

I can't believe this is happening. Is she so emotionally stunted that she doesn't know when someones literally flirting with her? Or am I so out of touch that I failed to realize that I'm actually being weird? 

No! That's can't be true, I'm Alexander Altamerana III. 

I am not weird!

"Bakit ka ba sumisigaw? Calm down!"

"Because I'm mad?! Jesus! You think I'm being 'weird'?! Well guess what I'm being 'weird' because I was trying to show you I like you!"
