When It Was Me.

---GIGI---

"Narinig mo ba yung chismis? May nakakita daw kay Sir Alex at Miss Luna sa Hyatt kagabi." 

"Talaga?! Sabi naman ni Sir Gian, nakita daw nya magka-date daw sa Fini---" Hindi na natapos nung isang empleyado yung sasabihin nya ng makita nya ako. Inirapan ko silang dalawa at sumakay na ako sa elevator.  

Pero syempre sa dami ng mosang sa building na to, naka-rinig na naman ako ng bagong kasinungalingan sa mga nasa loob pero ng makita ulit nila ako agad silang bumaba. Bwisit na mga to! Pag-chismisan ba naman daw yung mismong boss nila!

Kumakalat na nga sa buong kumpanya na ex-girlfriend ni Alex si Luna at ang malala pa, pabor ang ilang empleyado sa nakaraan nilang dalawa kesyo bagay daw sila at mukhang power couple. Ilan pa sa kanila hindi daw naniniwala na kasal na si Alex, malamang chismis lang daw yun para patigilin na yung mga babaeng nagha-habol sa kanya. Grabe mga tao dito! Ang gagaling ng imagination, bakit kaya hindi nila gamitin yung imagination nila sa trabaho, hindi yung puro nonsense iniisip nila! 

Anyway, kung si Sir Alex walang pakialam sa mga chismis pwes ako at si Anthony meron! Hindi naman pwedeng na-aapi pambato namin kahit na sa totoo lang wala rin siyang pakialam. Lumabas ako ng elevator at gaya nga ng sinabi ni Anthony pamatay chismis ang nag-hihintay sakin sa lobby. 

---NARRATOR---

Anthony secretly took a picture of Emily in front of the big statue that says Altamerana Global Corporation and quickly sent it to Gigi. He smiled as he watched as everyone stared at his masterpiece. Emily looks like a goddess, she looks like the female lead in a drama. Radiant and immaculate befitting the reason as to why they're here.

"Sorry Anthony, na-miss mo tuloy yung art show. Hindi ko maintindihan kung paano nakalimutan ni Alex to, napaka-ingat naman nya sa gamit nya." Emily said as he held on to an envelope which unbeknownst to her is empty and was planted by Anthony in her own home. 

It's all part of Anthony and Gigi's plan to get Emily to come to the office so the rumors can finally die down. Anthony invited Emily to go to an art show that doesn't exist, he just invited her to come with him just so he can have an excuse to get her made up and dressed like a socialite and out of her regular clothes. Then Gigi called Emily a few minutes before they left to tell her that Alex forgot an important document at home and needs it immediately and they can't send anyone out because Alex would lose face for forgetting something so important.

"Don't worry about it." He smiled brightly as he was giddy that things are going well with their plan. 

Gigi met them at the lobby and made a point of telling everyone around who Emily is. Emily gave her the envelope and told her that she and Anthony would go and have lunch but Gigi forced her to stay and at least say hi to Alex, of course, she declined with all her might but she was completely overpowered by both Gigi and Anthony, so she found herself in the elevator and being introduced to everyone they meet along the way.

---LUNA---

Everyone was on their way out the door except Alex, Riley, Celine, and me because I slowly gathered my things so I can talk to Alex. Celine helped me fix my things to speed things up and she rolled her eyes as I told her to go to lunch without me. She knows what I'm up to and she couldn't care less about what I do as long as her job's done. I picked up my IPad and scrolled through a document to show him.

My relationship with Alex has been getting better and better lately since he's stopped ignoring and running away from me. We've had a couple of conversations that are not about work and he's been very pleasant lately so I'm thinking maybe it's time we finally talk outside of the office, maybe share a meal. Just so we can start fixing our personal relationship.
