I stared at my laptop and just like the past 20 minutes I receive no new e-mails. I shut it close trying not to throw it across the room. Tsk, what the hell is taking these people so long? Gaano ba kahirap mag-compose nang e-mail at mag-send ng files? It's almost midnight are they really planning to cut it this close to the deadline? Unacceptable! Whoever these incompetent people are needs to be reprimanded or fired. This is ridiculous!

I was trying to suppress my anger when the woman on the couch next to me started giggling again. I looked at her she probably felt me staring as she looked back at me, seeing my expression she hid her mouth in her hand and tried to stop giggling like a schoolgirl.

Usually by this time we'd be in our own rooms, I'd be in bed finishing up work or sometimes a girl at siya naman doing God knows what. We don't usually stay in one place, madalas sa kusina lang when we're eating together. We rarely spend time together but nowadays we're usually hanging out, we'd still be doing our own things but we'd be in one place. I'm not annoyed by her presence and I guess she's become more comfortable and relaxed that she doesn't stay in her room all the time unlike before.

Her phone buzzed again and after reading her message she started laughing again.

"Hindi ka pa ba matutulog?" I asked her.

"Hindi pa, ikaw ba?" I shook my head.

"Nai-ingayan ka ba sakin?" I shook my head again.

"Gusto mo ng maiinom? Ikukuha kita." Tanong ulit nya.

"I'm fine." I opened my laptop again, refreshed the page and still nothing. I slammed it shut. 

"Ano bang iniintay mo?"

"Reports."

"Reports?"

"It's for work. They we're supposed to send it today, their deadline was midnight pero hanggang ngayon wala parin!"

"Malay mo dahil gabi na? Baka tulog na yung magse-send."

"They can't be sleeping. I gave them a deadline for a reason." She was about to say something but I cut her off.

"Enough about the report. What are you laughing about anyway?" Tanong ko sa kanya to change the subject since thinking about my employees incompetence is giving me a headache.

"Oh... si Anthony kasi. Kung anu-anong sine-send sakin about zodiac signs, bago nyang obsession."

"Zodiac signs? Naniniwala ka don?"

"Not really pero yung sinesend kasi niya sakin it's what the zodiac sign says about your personality, preferences and etc. Curious lang din ako yung iba kasi totoo. Katulad nung isa nyang sinend it says how the signs are as a friend or what kind of food you are."

"Doesn't sound funny to me."

"E hindi naman kasi yun yung  tinatawanan ko." I raised an eyebrow at her, she gave me a sly smile and showed me her phone, I pushed it back towards her with a disgusted look on my face. 

She started laughing again, clearly amused with my reaction. Yup, clearly she's very comfortable around me now since she has the guts to tease me now and show her true colors. 

"Sabi nya accurate daw dahil base sa experience nya mukhang tama daw. Hindi lang kami sure about yours." She grinned.

"Tch, definitely inaccurate." 

"Oh yeah? Di nga?" She challenged.

"Wanna check?" 

"No thank you." She sat back down, I smirked at her, lumipat ako sa tabi nya and I grabbed her phone from her, scrolling through the things my stupid cousin sent her. I found an article I liked and read through it, liking what it said about me.
