CHAPTER 15
ExhaustedThe first few weeks were hectic. The hotel only has Mrs. Questro and me as their event planners. But they have a lot of events on the schedule. I thought this would be just the same with the Making Memories. I didn't think that moving here would make me more exhausted than I already was.
"The debutante and her family have already arrived," Madina—one of the workers in the hotel informed.
I instantly stood up after hearing her words. Our office was located on the second floor while the hall was on the sixth floor, so we needed to ride an elevator.
I was constantly tapping my fingernails on the paper as I waited for us to arrive on the right floor.
"Everything's ready. You don't need to worry," nakangiting sambit niya.
From the notes, I gazed at her. She's wearing an encouraging smile as she looked at me.
I bit the inside of my lips. "This is my first event here. I hope it will turn out well."
"It's not your first time working on an event. And I'm really amazed at what you did with the debut. You don't need to worry if you know that you did your best."
I drew a deep breath before nodding my head. I shouldn't be worried, but I couldn't stop myself!
Using my two eyes, I checked the whole place, looking for something wrong.
"This must be good.
"Ms. Sandoval," Jacey greeted along with her family.
I smiled at them as I walked closer. I gave them some ideas for what would happen later in the night. I also instructed them on what they would do.
"We're really thankful that you're the one who organized my daughter's debut," Jacey's mother thanked me. I tried my best to stop her because I felt awkward, but she didn't stop.
I couldn't afford to cause chaos later, and I couldn't afford to damage the reputation of Santiago Hotel.
The clients also put their trust in me. I didn't want to disappoint them. I'd rather be hands-on with everything than regret it later.
"Mrs.
"You did my job there." She smirked. "Anyway, I checked the hall. Everything's ready for later. Did you talk to the family?"
"Yes, like what you said. I also informed them about the sudden changes and instructed them for the program that'll take place later."
"That's good to hear. I'll check the entrance. Can you inspect the rooms for the guests?" We have two more events for this month, so this isn't just the event we're working on.
