Nagsusuot ako ng jacket nang biglang sumulpot si Arki sa gilid ko. Nakabusangot ang mukha niya. Hindi ko siya pinansin at naglakad papuntang gym. As usual she followed me.

"Hindi ka ba talaga sasama?"

"No" walang ganang sagot ko.

She's talking about the field trip. Pinipilit niya akong sumama noong isang araw pa.

"Why not? It's fun, c'mon Kish"

"You're annoying" tanging sagot.

I stopped from my tracks when I noticed that there's so many students in the gym.

"Oh I forgot to mention, dalawang section daw ang kasabay natin sa PE ngayon. Handle din sila ni sir Alvarez"

I shrugged my shoulders and went inside.

"What a good timing. Nandito ang fiancee at ex-girlfriend mo" sarkastikong anas niya.

I ignored her nonsense remarks. Naupo ako sa sulok habang nakasandal sa pader, malayo sa iba. I told sir Alvarez that I won't participate, he doesn't bother to argue with me.

For the whole time I busied myself watching her movements. I let myself since she never glance at my direction. But her jerk boy-fucking-friend keep glancing at me giving me stupid smirks.

Hindi ko sya binigyan ng reaksyong ikakatuwa niya. I raise my eyebrow when I saw Arki waving her hand at me. She looks stupidly stupid. Maybe I shouldn't came here.

"Kish"

Napatingin ako kay Israel na nagpupunas ng pawis na palapit ngayon sakin.

"Can I ask you a favor?"

Hindi ako sumagot at hinayaan siyang magpatuloy. After the incident in the auditorium, hindi na kami nirequire na magkasama subalit ngayon pareho nang may nagbabantay sa mga galaw namin.

"Pwede bang sumama ka ng field trip"

I gave him a puzzled look.

"I can't leave our house if you're not coming. You know the new conditions of my father"

Right. He can't go whenever he wants. Kahit nga ata paghang out sa kaibigan nya hirap sya.

"I don't want to" walang ganang sagot ko.

"Kish please just this one. It's Josh birthday and I promised him na pupunta ako sa kanila"

So gusto nya lang akong gamitin para makalabas siya.

"What about those jerks following you around?"

"Kaya ko silang iligaw"

"Then tumakas ka na lang, don't bother me"

"I can't. My father won't let me"

"Malamang kaya ka nga tatakas"

"Kish I did all your bidding without complaining before. I'm just asking for this one"

Tss. Nagawa pang mangosensya. I really don't want to. It just a wastes of time, as if naman na maeenjoy ako dun. But he's right. I owe him. Argh. Damn. Kaya ayaw kong nagkakaroon ng utang na loob sa ibang tao.

"Fine, in one condition"

Nagsalubong ang kilay nya.

"Okay, ano yun?"

Hindi agad ako nakasagot nang maramdamang may mga matang nakatutok samin pero sa lahat ng 'yun isang pares lang ang nakaagaw ng atensyon ko.

I miss those golden eyes. The way she stare at me is not the same as before. But I couldn't complain. Dahil ako naman ang may kasalanan.
