They were gone, I watch them drive into the distance, it would probably the last time I see them for a long time. I guess me and Brad are finished? I guess as soon as my parents leave I will have no one.
I walked back inside and anger started to build up. I walked into the kitchen to find my mom.
"I hope your happy" I said tears streaming down my face.
She walked closer to me.
"Actually I am" she said with a smile on your face.
I gave her a confused look. I was sick of her.
"Jessica sit down." She said pointing to the stool.
"No why should I" I said disobeying her order.
"Fine. I'm happy because Brad came in here and showed how much he cares for you and he is not willing to leave you without a fight and same with the boys and I respect them and I know that they really do love you." She said sighing.
A smile appeared on my face is she going to say what I think she is going to say.
"You can see them again at your choice but just remember that they are going to make a lot more friends along the way and that they will go traveling for months on end or years touring the place and you can't follow them forever and be depending on them for everything in your life" and with that said she walked out of the kitchen.
My smile had faded. She was right.............
