Chapter 17- Tristan

A few days had past since the after party and no word from anyone not even Lisa. Have they all taken Brad side? I felt even more upset that it was my 18 birthday is tomorrow and I'll have no one to celebrate with not even my parents. I lay in bed replaying the after party round and around in my head. I couldn't cry anymore. My eyes were read and bloodshot and bags from lack of sleep and crying. I felt like just curling and a hole and stay there. Bad thoughts started coming into my head again. Was life worth living? why am I on this planet? if I ended it would anyone care? An urge came over me. My feet started walking me into the bathroom and I started filling the bath with water. When it was full I was putting my foot in when DING DONG! The doorbell goes I snap out of thoughts and just stay in a trance of thought for a minute ,was I actually just about to end my life? I walk to the door fast and open it to see a tall skinny blonde boy it was TRISTAN. "Hi" I said giving him a fake smile. "Hi" he said smiling at me. He had something behind his back. I knew it. "What's behind your back?" I say nosely. He quickly pulls his hands in front of him holding a movie ( Cinderella Story my favourite) and popcorn and chocolate. i hug him "your the best Tris this is exactly what I need" I said holding him tight. "Lisa said it was your favourite lets go watch it I'll put on the popcorn and you set it up." He said walking into the kitchen. I got blankets and set up the DVD. I sat on the couch when tris walks in with a massive bowl of popcorn. "Really Tris really?" I say giving him a are you serious look. "What?" he said confused. "Your wearing your own merch that's a bit sad isn't it ?" I say laughing. "No "he says all embarrassed. "I'm only joking Tris I love it you have to get me one" I said admiring it. He pulls something out of his jacket pocket. "Good thing I brought you one all part of the service" he said smiling. it had beautiful blue sleeves and Evans printed at the back of it I loved it. "I got up and hugged Tristan. "This is the best present I got in a long time" I said putting it on over my string top I was previously wearing. TRISTAN takes out his phone and takes a pic of the back of both our tops uploading it to Twitter.

An Evans Movie night.

I loved the pic it was so cute. We sat and watched the movie.

2 hours last and the movie was over. I turned off the tv and me and tris started talking. "Any word from Brad?" he said concerned. "No" I sighed. "I don't get why you don't go out you like him he likes you ?". I sigh "I like Brad a lot more than a friend way but I'm scared of getting hurt and left alone." I say looking down. "Brad wouldn't hurt you." Tris said rubbing soft circles on my arm "You don't know that I mean his hurt me more just in the few weeks of being friends .imagine if we went out ?and my mom dated a musician before my dad and she was in love with him and one day she walked in on him with another woman.after I saw how upset my mom was telling me this after all those years I said I would never put my self in a position like she was back then. " I said tears falling from my cheeks. Tristan grabbed my face with his hands and wiped my tears away. "I understand but you and Brad should make up you should tell him this he doesn't understand why you won't go out with him it's killing him to know. " "Okay" I sigh knowing his right. "So doing anything nice For you birthdays?" Tristan asks changing the subject. "No " I sigh. "Aww I might come over tomorrow and wish you a happy birthday". He smiles hugging me. "I have to go see you soon. He says standing up about to walk out the door. "Tristan" I call. He stops and looks at me. "Thank you" I say smiling. "No problem can I used your bathroom before I go?". "Sure there's one straight at top of the stairs I say.

Tris POV

I walk up the stairs to go to the bathroom when I see the bath full of water. Crap did I interrupt her when I came?
