Chapter 59- The chat

Brads pov

"Brad can I have a talk with you" he said and placed his hand firmly on my shoulder.

I instantly felt nervous and to be honest scared, I looked at Jess looked back at him.

"Yeah sure" he then walked into the kitchen and I followed. He then shut the door behind him.

He came to the table and sat across from me.

"So Brad as you already we are leaving soon and that means Jessica will be here by herself and I don't want anything unsafe and thought through being done in this house"

I immediately got embarrassed and I could feel my face go red.

"Brad I know you love Jessica and I can see she loves you too but I don't want you stopping her from achieving to the best of her abilities in life because I know if you tell her to just go on tour and follow you on tour she will just say yes and she will forget about her own future because she won't want to lose you."

I nodded in agreement.

"Ok Brad I trust you now to take care of my daughter and help her through hard times and not cause her to do anything to herself.... Just please she is my only child and I don't want to lose her."

"Mr Taylor I promise to look after Jess I love her and we may fight but we will work through it."

With that he smiled and he got up and opened the door for me to leave.

Jess and her mom were standing outside the front door. I shook her dads hand and shook her mom's hand I then kissed Jess on the cheek and said goodbye to her parents and her.
