Chapter 87- Breaking the News

Brad POV

The whole way home the guys and i decided how we would tell the girls. We decided to tell each of our girlfriends alone and at the same time. After a long walk we arrived outside my house, we took a big deep breath and entered the house. We walked into the sitroom to see the girls all on one couch snuggled up watching tv. There heads quickly turned towards us as soon as they heard us come in.

"Well" Maddie said breaking the silence.

"I think we should all talk in private" Tristan said grabbing Lisas hand and bringing her upstairs.

I took Jess's hand and brought her outside to the wooden bench at the back of the garden.

James brought Maddie to the kitchen and Connor stayed in the sitroom with Luisa.

we reached the bench and we sat facing each other. Jess had a worried look on her face.

"Whats going on?" she said gazing into my eyes.

i took a deep breath and cleared my throat.

"So Joe told us about the tour dates. Its over 3 weeks and its not in England its in America and we leave this Friday."

Jess looked away and sat straight forward. A tear fell down her eye but she wipped it quickly.

After a few minutes she turned and faced me and smiled.

"Im really happy and proud of you Brad your dreams are all coming true." She said with a big smile on her face but i could see that she was deeply upset in her eyes. another tear fell down her cheek but she wiped it with her hand.

Before i could reply she engulfed me in a hug. She held onto me tight like if she let go she would lose me. She pulled out of the hug and grabbed my hand.

"We better make the most of the time we have left before you go" she said kissing my cheek and standing up.

I didnt know what to stay she was so calm about it all. In a way i was kind of sad she didnt fight for me to stay.

"Jess im not going leaving you for 3 weeks. We can go a different time like if you go to college?" i said pulling he close to me.

"No Brad your going. I never want to be the one holding you back from your dreams. You have to go, I will be fine. I have the girls and my other friends. She said kissing my lips.

We began to walk inside to see Luisa in tears, Maddie was fine because she probably told James she was going to America for a few weeks to work and travel and Lisa was hugging Tristan tightly not saying anything.

"Im going to go lets go out later" Jess whispered in my ear and pecked my lips before walking out the door.
