Chapter 82- The perfect dress

Today was the day the girls and I were going dress shopping and I have to say I was excited that I hadn't even thought of Brad. It was only me and Lisa because Luisa said she had a dress and Maddie wasn't in our school so she wasn't going to the prom. It was 2 days till prom and almost a week since me and Brads fight. Niall and I hung out yesterday and insisted he came today but I refused because it's just weird. We got to the dress shop and started looking through racks and racks of dresses. I picked out 3 and so did Lisa. The first one I tried on was lilac but it was a bit plain for my prom, the second one was a light green but it just didn't sit right on me and the third was just not nice on me. I handed the dresses to the assistant outside. "Dear do you need any help" she said putting the dresses on a rack. "Please I need help so much" I said making her laugh. She took a look at my body shape and thought to herself "I have the perfect dress it isn't in the shop floor yet but we just got it in today and it would be perfect on you". She walked off and 5 minutes later she insisted I blind folded myself and that she help me into the dress. At this point Lisa was waiting for me she had found a beautiful red lace long sleeve dress with a low cut back.

The woman opened the curtain and put me in front of the big mirror and told me to take off my blind fold. i took it out and I was left speechless it was beautiful it was strapless dress with a glittery top and the bottom slightly puffed out (picture above) it was beautiful it had a bit of sparkle and wasn't too puffy and over the top. I looked over at Lisa sitting on the chair and it reminded me of the day Brad came dress shopping with me and the way he smiled at me when I walked out. I felt tears well up in my eyes but I forced them back with all my strength. "What do you think Lisa is it OTT" I said smiling at her.

"NO it's perfect it is so you". I looked at the old women and nodded. I will take it. With that I got out of the dress and handed it to her and went out to pay. Lisa rubbed my back as I was leaving the shop as she knew how hard it was for me to be not going to prom with Brad. The rest of the day we bought accessories and got some Nandos.i couldn't concentrate all I could think about where brad was.
