Chapter 14- Beach

Today was Thursday and Lisa and I decided to go to the beach. I loved the beach it was my favourite place ever when it's sunny I usually go to clear my head and do some yoga. It was just so peaceful. I changed into my navy bikini and put a pair of denim shorts and a loose crop top on over it. I heard a knock on the door it was Lisa. Let's go I said not even letting her in I was too excited.

After a 5min walk to the beach we set out our towels ,odd there wasn't a lot of people here considering it was like 26 degrees (Celsius). I grabbed Lisa by the hand and we ran to the waves. I loved the feeling of them crashing onto my skin. Lisa and I started messing around splashing each other etc. I was having so much fun. Suddenly in the horizon I noticed 4 boys. It was Brad james connor and Tristan. "So much for our day" I said sarcastically. "O come on it will be fun"she said she ran towards the boys and So did I. hi I said hugging all the I boys. Then came Brad he was staring at me with his mouth open. I now felt very akward in my bikini. Hi I said giving him a hug.
We all went into the water. We started just messing around then we decided to play who could stay up the longest. I decided to go on James shoulders, Brad on Connors and Lisa on Tristan's. "your going down!" Brad said pointing at me. I glared at him. I moved towards Lisa I knew she would be easy. As we got closer I reached to her sides and began tickling her. She instantly fell woops! it was just me and Brad left. I tryed to push him from his pecks but he didn't budge. I couldn't help stare at his tanned toned body. WOW! without thinking I was grabbed by the waist and pulled under the water. Under the water I could hear Brad was celebrating his victory I decided to have some fun and not go to the surface of the water I hit james leg to let him know and hopefully he gave a look to the others except Brad. I decided to swim to the other side of the beach to watch his reaction. I suddenly saw him stop celebrating and started panicking.

Brad POV

I was celebrating when I realised where was Jess. Shit panic kicked in what if she hit her head on a rock? I started splashing the water to try and find her but nothing. What happens if she was brought in the tide. I felt so scared I turned to the boys who were grinning. "What are you grinning at help find Jess she could be dead by now.." When I was turning back to the waves I noticed a girl in the horizon laughing. IT WAS JESS! I swam as fast as I could over to her. She was crying with laughter. I'm gonna kill you I said picking her up over my shoulder and ran onto the shore to where everyone else was. I dropped her on the sand. "You scared me"i said putting her hair behind her ear then giving her a hug.
"Shows you not to be cocky about winning" she smirked.

Jessica POV

It was so cute how much Brad worried about me when I say down all the boys put out there hand for a high five. "That was genius" Tristan said crying with laughter.
We then just started talking "So Jess what are you going to do for your 18th?" Lisa asked me. "I don't know watch DVDs get dominos ?"I said shrugging. Everyone burst out laughing "are you serious?"connor said. "Ya" I could feel my cheeks go red. I didn't want to have a party well I don't think I did anyway.

After about 2 hours of talking we decided to head home. Everyone was off in there groups talking and I was left talking to Brad which I didn't mind I was glad we were friends. "so do you have any gigs coming up?" I asked him. He smiled God his smile was perfect STOP JESS just friends. "Ya actually Saturday" he said proudly. "Omg can I go please please please" I said taking hold of his hand. "Ok he said smiling at me. Yay I'm so excited!!! Finally I can see them live and hear them for the first time!
