Leora and I immediately went to our room after the game. She was silent from the time she saw and ate the doux bread and up until now she hasn't spoken. I don't know what is running in her mind right know but I hope she's not thinking some bad stuff. I put my bags on the couch and face her, she was currently on the kitchen; drinking some cold water.

I took a step closer to her and fold my arm to my chest.

"Can you explain it to me now? Anong nangyari kanina?" curiously asked.

She took a deep breath and place the plastic cup on the table and shrug. "I don't know... I really don't know but," she bit her bottom lip. "this is not the first time I saw strange things—"

"You mean, you saw a spirit before? " I asked.

"Hindi, I-I saw a smoke— a not-so-ordinary-smoke co'z it looks like I am the only one who can see it." She pull the chair and sat on it. "I thought you guys saw it too, dahil sinundan n'yo ako sa building kung nasaan si Everly."

Naningkit ang mga mata ko, "You were just following a smoke that time? How is that possible! "

"Hindi nga kapani-paniwala—"

"Maybe, it's your ability? You can see, uh... spirit? What so ever— let's ask prof wyatt!" nagulat ako nang hampasin niya ang lamesa.

"Hindi, Shiro, we will tell no one! I... I don't trust them."

My forehead creased. I frowned. "Why not? They can help you—"

"I'll look for an answer by myself. "

Napasintido ako. Bakit ba wala siyang tiwala? Sa tinggin niya ba ay makakatulong ang paglilihim niya?!

I sighed.

Ngayong nalaman ko na may ability na si leora, it means, I am the only person here without an ability. What I am supposed to do now?

"Magpatulong na tayo— gusto ko rin malaman kung bakit nahiwalay ako sa katawan ko kanina," pagpilit ko sa kaniya.

Agad siyang napabaling sa akin at tumitig. Sumandal ako sa sink at tumitig rin sa kaniya. Ano na naman ang nasa isip nito?

"Ano nga pala ang ginawa mo at bakit ganon? Wala kang pulso ng kapain ko ang leeg mo— h-hindi ko lang sinabi sa kanila dahil umaasa ako—" nag-iwas siya sa akin ng tingin at kinagat ang labi.

"Leora!" I shouted. Namasa ang mata ko dahil sa takot na nararamdaman. "natatakot ako, baka... baka hindi ko na makita si mama— magsabi na tayo—"

"No, shiro! Ayoko!"

"Pero, Leora—"

"Ayoko! Call me selfish or whatever but I was just protecting myself from a bad people!maraming masamang tao, ayoko rin na madamay ka," akma niyang aabutin ang kamay ko pero umiwas ako at Sunod-sunod na umiling.

"Hindi, wala ka namang pakialam sa akin, you're a selfish girl! You're just worried about yourself! "

Nanlaki ang mata niya at napa awang ang labi, wari'y hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi ko. Even me, I was shocked because of what I said and I know I can't take it back anymore.

"Shiro, believe me ayoko lang talaga na madamay ka—"
