Darkness invaded my whole surroundings, but I could still see a glimpse of light above. My whole body was floating and there were bubbles coming out of my mouth every time I exhaled. When I finally released my body inside the bag, a child's wind covered my head, which is why I managed to breath despite being in the depths of falls.
When I look around, all I can see is darkness. I tried to swim up but the pressure was pulling me to the ground. Tila ba ayaw akong pakawalan ng tubig at gusto akong ikulong dito sa panghabang buhay. But I can’t let that happen. My friends will be worried, Liam will cry, and Loera will be lonely.
In a short amount of time, I felt the loneliness of being trapped in a place where there was no one else but me and the darkness. Even though there are a lot of fish, I still feel lonely. Maybe because I am not like them, I don’t belong here and I am not from here. It looks like wherever I go, the loneliness and being an outcast won’t leave me.
I slowly close my eyes. I feel like time is moving so slowly here. I hope tres will console her for me.
But how long will I stay here? I should think of a way to get out of this place, but the woman hasn’t come back yet.
"They will come to rescue you," I looked at my right side where a woman came up.
She was the one who helped me get out of the bag. She has a soft angelic voice, just like the other voices I heard in my dream and in the play. She is like a sun that gives light in this universe. Her deep blue eyes sparkle, while her hair floats like a star.
"Can you answer me now? Who are you?" I asked once again.
"I see, you received a gift from Hera. What’s his name?"
I frowned. "I didn’t know that it was a he." I said. "And… I haven’t named him yet. "
"You should name him, tame him and make him yours."
A gold necklace with the pendant shaped like a droplet of water.
"My name is Aqua, the Goddess of water. Please, treasure her until you succeed. When that day comes, they will help you and repay all the kindness you gave to them. Trust me, her child. "
"Why are you giving this to me?"
"Please..." she held my hand and kissed the back of it. "I hate seeing my people suffer. I don’t want to hear their voices, crying and shedding their tears. Save me, the people, our people... "
I don’t want to leave yet. I still have so many questions to ask and more importantly, what is the purpose of this necklace? What should I do? How can I help their people? How can a mere diseased human help those people she was talking to?
