Chapter 38

My heart is full of joy and peace, after all what happened I'm finally feel the peace in me and in my heart that has been hurt and experienced a tragedy years ago.

Lubos kong inakala na hindi na muling babaklik sa dati, ang akala ko ay hindi ko na muling mahahanap ang tunay kong pamilya, na hindi ko na muling mararamdaman ang pagmamahal ng isang pamilya, at hindi ko na muling makakasama pang muli si Enzo at hindi ko na muling mayayakap siya. But I'm here, together with my siblings, father and on my side is Enzo.

Everyone is so happy, everyone is laughing like there's no tomorrow.

I can't start my food, I'm so busy starring at everyone's face sitting on a long table.

Nakikita ko sa gilid ng aking mata ang isang mariing titig. He is looking at me intently, he observing the movement of my eye.

Sa pagtingin ko sa aking paligid ay naramdaman ko ang isang mainit at malapad na palad sa aking backless na damir.

"Are you okay? You're not eating your food, you don't like it?" Marahang saad sa akin ni Enzo.

I make a weak smile before looking at him.

"I'm okay, it's just nice to see everyone here, I'm here with you, with my siblings, and my father, even we're not complete, I'm still so happy, ang saya ko Enzo..."

Isang mainit na luha ang dumaloy sa aking pisngi, matapos kong sambitin iyon.

I saw Enzo's face softened, he smiled at me.

"I know that you're happy, and I'm so happy and proud of you..."

Isang buwan nadin ang lumipas simula noong naging maayos na ang lahat, madaming nangyari, nagsimula kaming muli, bumuo ng bagong ala-ala kasama ang aking pamilya at si Enzo. Nagkaroon din ng malaking handaan na ginawa ng aking pamilya sa aking pagbabalik, there was a lot of guest, my father's and my mother's relatives, madami ding mga malalaking tao ang dumalo, tulad ng mga may ari ng naglalakihang may ari ng negosyo.

They made me feel that I'm finally home, there's a lot of greetings, they are so happy that I'm back.

"You really look like your mother... Ang nukuha mo lamang sa akin ay ang aking tangkad. Alam mo anak...Everytime I saw your face especially your eyes, the memory when your mother giving birth flashes in my mind. Saad nito habang sabay naming tinitingnan ang malaking litrato ng aking Ina sa loob nitong kwarto na puno ng mga bulaklak.

Tumabi sa akin ang aking Ama, I feel his hand on my back slowly touching it.

"...She always follow her heart, even when we lose you, she still believes that we can find you. And that's why I really fall in love on your mother, at habang narito pa ako, lagi kong uulitin sa'yo na sundin mo ang itinitibok ng iyong puso..." He smiled at me.

"I love you anak... I'm so happy and I still can't believe that you're here." My father hugged me so tight.

"I love you so much daddy..." The warm hug from my father makes me cry.

"O siya, tama na ang drama, may aayusin ka pa, Enzo is here... Naghihintay siya sa may kusina, kumain muna kayo pago tumuloy. Sigurado ka bang handa kana?"

"Handa na po ako Dad. I don't want to waste time anymore."

Daddy smiled at me.

We go out of the room together, pagkatapos kong bumaba ay nahuli kaagad ako ng mga mata ni Enzo.

He stand when he saw my father on my back and walk towards on us.

Sinalubong ko naman siya ng matatamis na ngiti habanag palapit ito sa amin. He is so damn serious when my father is around.
