The lights of Chaldea were dim as it was turning to morning and Da Vinci began to activate the broadcasting system. She turned on the speakers and yelled "good morning," waking up the entire premise. Holmes told her that was unnecessary and took it away, he apologized for the outburst and announced it was another calm morning.
Carmen Annuska ran past the rooms as she put her hair up. She had black hair and fuchsia eyes, she wore the standard female outfit for Chaldea and carried with her a notebook. She ran into the director's office to see it was empty and closed the door behind her. She made a sigh of relief, the new director scared her and demanded so much of the workers. Chaldea was working hard on their tasks; some were chosen to summon a servant while others were happy to continue their regular work. After hearing about the risks Ritsuka took, they weren't sure about being a master.
Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash Kyrielight walked by and waved before they went to the dining hall. It had been two years since the fall of Solomon, and Chaldea was back up and running. The Masters who were part of Teams A and B worked on repairs and prepared if there was another threat to humanity. Most weren't too happy about hearing how Ritsuka defeated Solomon, as they were the ones originally meant for the job, and they gave her nasty looks for a week straight.
A man ran by Carmen, he had medium-length black hair with red ends as it reached his shoulders, he also had two strands that were longer than the others and he let them flow behind him. He was wearing a medical uniform and had a tag around his neck. He was Doctor Akko Terasu, a person recruited by Romani and Da Vinci after the first attack on Chaldea. He had to run to the medical facility before the other members of Chaldea decided to raid it or make another mess. He waved to Carmen before he ran into a wall, he forgot to turn and held his forehead before turning and continuing his journey.
Carmen looked through her notebook; there was a part about her skills as a mage and how she would perform as a master. When the Doctor examined her, he told her that she wasn't fit for powerful servants and had a better chance of continuing her work than being a master. But if she was determined, few fit the minimum standards the director was looking for in a servant. With Mash being at the bottom and King Solomon at the top, she would need a servant who was similar to Mash.
She headed to the dining hall where the rest of Chaldea's members were located. She found a boy whom she knew from Clocktower. Kyan Shoujo, a boy who was staring at her nervously with his red eyes and had his red hair in a mess as he tried to straighten it. They studied together for a while before being admitted into Chaldea where they were appointed to Team B. Kyan gave her a nice smile, he was known to have a slight crush on her and did nothing to hide it. He shuffled a bit closer to her as he tried to make small talk.
"Um..." he started to say.
"You are the worst at this," she said with a chuckle.
"What?"
"I'm guessing your mom never taught you how to talk to a girl."
"You don't have to make fun of me for it."
"I'm sorry, you're just too easy to pick on. But hey, are you going to try to summon a servant?"
"I want to try."
"Don't make me do all the talking, what class do you want?" Carmen started to lean in. "Is there anyone specific?"
"No, I'm fine with whoever I get," Kyan started to back off, scared of her getting too close, which made her sit straight. "What about you?"
"I'm after anyone who's a Caster, those servants are so cool."
"Don't you need to be a better mage to get a Caster?"
