Vrishasena couldn't stop laughing, "you want to save him?! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life!"

"We're being serious!" Carmen retaliated. "He's our friend and the person he is now isn't the real him."

"He's oppressed India far worse than Arjuna ever could and you want to save him! Come on, you can't tell me that's not hilarious!" His tone changed, "he killed his father for the throne and now he's turned India into a hellhole, that's the fact. If you want to save India, you need to kill him."

"I promised him that we would travel the world, and I intend to keep that promise."

"Vrishasena," Mitra interrupted to stop them from fighting. "What can you tell us about your plan to overthrow Shrutakarma?"

"We take out the god temples, kill the gods, kill that witch who seems to be glued to the king, and then kill the king." Vrishasena seemed proud of his plan, smiling all the way through.

"And you call him the insane one."

Carmen got up and left, she wasn't going to be any help trying to reason with the boys, so decided to check on the rest of Chaldea.

Helena was writing in her notebook, taking in what India had to give them. She showed Carmen that she had new recipes from traveling to China and Japan, mochi donuts and takoyaki. She was curious to try them out when they got the chance. She also was writing about some monsters that were in cages and the weapons the guards were carrying. Nero, meanwhile, was sharpening a new sword. It was given to her by one of the soldiers who heard she lost her original sword in Japan and gave her a hand-me-down. When asked what happened to her old sword, she pointed to Yu, the anti-divine sword was made into a dagger and since she had no idea how to use small blades, she let Yu have it.

Yu was walking around in the evening; she was working on getting used to the sun and learned she was fine when the sun wasn't so intense. She sat on a bench made of stone as Carmen joined her. She began flitting with the anti-divine dagger and had Mitra test it. When she cut his arm, it took him an hour to heal, and he said it felt like a sting in his body. Vrishasena saw the dagger and grew curious, he wanted to know how well that would fair against the gods of India. Unfortunately, it was impossible to kill them due to the small blade, but the important part was that it stopped them. Vrishasena asked her to use it on them, it was their only chance to quickly take out the gods without killing innocent bystanders.

As the three debated, Carmen went to see what Akko was doing. He was messing with one of the robots India's council members sent after him, taking it apart and organizing it. He waved at her and showed her a chip with Caligo's symbol. He was hoping to find something that recorded important information about the king and the council of India. He plugged the chip into his phone and then searched through the data, there were messages from Egypt, some threats from Greece, and a trade agreement with Caligo. The king was willing to trade if India provided cloths and jewelry, if it went through, India would quickly rise in power and become a grander threat than Egypt and Greece combined.

Akko looked out at the night sky; the stars glittered in the darkened sea and the whistling of the wind was like listening to a quiet violin. He closed his eyes to listen to the calm breeze, while the ground wasn't easy to sit on, he found it was better than the cell floors in the castle. Carmen joined him, wondering what he thought about India. He wasn't sure, he had only been there a day and it wasn't the greatest experience. Other than that, it was beautiful. The bell rang for dinner and bedtime, monsters came out once the sun was completely gone and the guards were the only ones allowed outside. Vrishasena showed Chaldea their rooms, it was the biggest house he could find and filled with leftover supplies. Lastly, he asked if they were available the next day, he wanted to check out a town that was destroyed by the storm and see if anything or anyone survived it.
