Yama twirled her hair, she felt Parvati, Rati, and Kama were gone, which meant she and Varuna were the last gods left. And they didn't like one another, they were known for fighting often and had wars between their followers. She leaned on the window as she returned control to Ritsuka and gave her farewells. Ritsuka fanned herself, overheating from the long coat she was in. She looked around, the last she remembered, she was in Russia during a snowstorm. She threw the coat aside and went to a room to sleep, not even caring that there was a group gathered in the throne room. Carmen sighed, that was normal Ritsuka behavior.

Abhimanyu was awake early in the morning and going through a box of treasures that he pulled out of his father's room. He put a sword on the ground and shifted his attention to it; it was the sword of the hero who protected India during the demon war. Abhimanyu polished it, watching it shine in the sunlight as if it was brand new. Nero sat with him, he was terrible at polishing the blade, so she showed him how to do it. When she tried to give it back to him, he shook his head, he wanted her to keep it. In fact, he planned to give the other members of Chaldea gifts and it was the perfect one for her.

India was turning a new leaf, no more royal family, no more rings that separated the people by class, and no more isolating the realm. He handed Helena a book with some long-ranged spells and a small healing enchantment, she flipped through it and went outside to test her new skills. He then threw a charm to Yu, it was made by the god of the sun, Surya, to protect the wearer. He saw how she was wearing a cloak whenever she was out, and it was hampering her ability to fight. She tied it around her neck and took off her cloak, putting trust in him that he wasn't going to burn her. Reaching her bare hand to the window, she found she wasn't affected by the sun's rays.

A ringing was heard from the other room where Ritsuka was staying, it was a phone call and she picked it up. When Carmen tried to listen in, she found Ritsuka was speaking in a strange language that sounded Chinese. Ritsuka hung up a few minutes later and went to Abhimanyu. Her "home base" was on its way to clean up the mess. They wanted to gather any council member they could find and take whatever was left of the council's records. She refused to give more information though, the higher-ups made it clear to her that she was to relay basic notes, and no names or intentions were to be told to Chaldea. She shrugged, she had no idea why they didn't trust Chaldea, she simply asked that the group stay out of the cleaning process.

Chaldea decided to head for Sita's base, leaving Drona and Ritsuka to care for Shrutakarma and ensure the castle wasn't invaded, or if Shakuni decided to show himself. Helena soon held out her arm, there was something sinister in the shadows. Mitra also felt it, his fists clenched as he scanned the ground. He punched the air and sent a fireball to hit a familiar, it sunk into the abyss as another figure rose. A woman with long black hair that covered most of her face and was singed at the ends, she held tightly to a darkened staff with an upside-down cross and wore a black nun's dress.

She stared at Chaldea, not moving an inch as her red eyes gazed at them. They wondered what she was doing until Helena figured it out, she was scanning them, meaning she was a caster.

Her laugh was broken, her movements were sporadic, and she went limp before straightening herself. "Not bad, not bad at all, Chaldea."

"Stand back, master!" Mitra stood between the woman and Carmen to act as a shield.

"It took you so long to notice me, I was wondering if something was wrong," her body swung in an almost unnatural way to get right into Mitra's face. She lifted both hands, leaving the staff to float near her, and grabbed his head. Her touch burned his skin. "A servant... a servant... how interesting. Ah... but you're so weak."

"LET GO OF ME!" Mitra surrounded himself in flames and the woman jumped back.

She titled her head, then went to Helena. "The witch of Russia, you're a bit stronger than the last time we met."
