"You're all useless," her voice echoed in the dimly lit room. "How is it that you can face against the Crypters unscathed, but you fall when Chaldea knocks on your door?"

"If we're to be realistic," the spotlight hit a man covered in bandages. "India had it coming, if Arjuna were the king, he would've killed them instantly."

"You dare question my judgment?"

"I do, you chose an idiot to become king, and now he's in the hands of the enemy."

A tapping sound came from another seat, his nails hit the white marble throne then turned to a scratching noise, "if you're going to be so confident, then why don't you take care of them?"

"Maybe I will," the bandages floated toward the white marble and the two were face to face. "Will that make you happy?"

"Get away from me, undead freak."

"As much as I'd like to see you squabble, I have better things to do." Crystals began to clang as he stood from his throne.

"And where do you think you're going?" Her voice was demanding as the spider webs inched closer to him, intending to imprison him. "Her Holiness has asked us to discuss the issue of Chaldea, do you think it's not rude to leave without permission?"

"Since when do you care about what she thinks?" He didn't even move; his stare was enough to shatter the webs before they reached him.

"Is the Platted Knight that much of a threat to you?"

"She has something that belongs to me and is desperate to hold onto it."

A mechanical whirring was heard from the last throne, "now look who's squabbling, you two might as well get married."

"That's enough from the five of you," the goddess' voice froze them in their tracks. "Kill Chaldea, I don't care what it takes! That wretched master needs to die! Her, that fire servant, and their doctor, kill them!"

The doors closed, separating the kings to send them back to their realms.

"After Chaldea is dead, those pestilent Crypters are next."

Chaldea returned to India to find that the clean-up crew was gone with only Sakura and Ritsuka staying behind. The crew took Arjuna's old possessions, most of his paperwork, and anything the council was working on, and Drona went with them to speak with the White Bishop about the future of India. It was the first realm they cleaned after all. Abhimanyu ran to the library to see if any books on the god of the Void remained; he found a few that he showed Chaldea. Better images of the old structures that were in Jade's collection. A clear figure of the god holding the moon, his long hair circled the stars, and his dress made up the rest of the cosmos.

Carmen wondered why the structures were destroyed and how India's books had images of them before the scratches appeared. Abhimanyu believed the pictures came from an underground temple that was buried deep in the caves. A place that was lost after the demon war. Abhimanyu stayed in the library while the rest of Chaldea went to a research room where Sakura worked on a report. She had a few helper robots that watched her and ensured she didn't slack off. Ritsuka, meanwhile, was with Shielder practicing her skills. A man with white hair and black highlights held an obsidian shield; he was fighting monsters. He slammed his shield on one and slashed another, he titled it to block an attack before throwing it and killing the enemy.

It returned to his hand and Ritsuka stretched, she waved to Chaldea, gesturing for them to join her. She asked Mitra to fight her Shielder, a test to see how Carmen fared as a master. A helper robot floated in the center as the masters stood on the edges of the field and the servants faced one another. When a ringing was heard, the masters began to call out orders. Mitra surrounded his fists in flames and went to punch Shielder who went for a counter. Mitra was hit back, not expecting the shield to be so dense and heavy. He caught himself on the sand and kicked the shield, he was sprung when Shielder anticipated the next attack; pulling the shield back to match Mitra's movements and pushing.
